I finally ended up coming clean to my fiancee (now wife) about porn after lying about it our whole relationship. I say lying now, but it didn't feel like it then. I had never acknowledged the issue, out loud to anyone else especially, so it felt more like denying the existence of another person, another 'me'. I had compartmentalized it so much. Telling her and other men that can hold me accountable was both the most painful and helpful thing I have done. I never realized there was such a weight on my heart until it was lifted. I encourage all to do the same. Sin has no power when it is in the light.

Being opened and honest is the most important step in recovery as far as pornography goes. It’s such an isolating addiction and it’s so easy to keep things to yourself. Good on you for finally bringing it to light.

I’m really looking forward to the food video as well. I think it’ll be very helpful. As far as HVAC goes, I only work on residential systems. Therefore, the only thing I need is my Freon license. I also subcontract for another company. So I pretty much just show up and do the job and get paid. I don’t have much of a business mind

Eventually most men grow out of it, either with help or on their own, a sense of morality returns. It's a perfected modern trap and is very successful at luring and ruining many good men by their masculinity, but it is a cycle that can be broken. Guilty 🤚 been down that same road you’re talking about, and still fight that, losing at times. Do you still battle the porn or no? If not, then what were the steps you took to overcome it. Also, you mentioned the women and apologized that we men have caused some issues for them. In my experience, some of the women are as bad or worse than a man ever was. Not so much with pornography, but in other ways, relating to immodesty and sexual perversion, talking about indecent things on the job in the presence of men, and also just living an immoral life. But yes, men are more visual, and I too hate that. So let me hear de you as to whether you still battle and fail in this area and if not, the steps you took/take to kill the temptation. TIA. also, you made me think of the scripture, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which does so easily beset (hinder) us. This can be a besetting sin

I still do with the temptation to look at it, but as far as actually going for it, I have not watched porn in 2 1/2 years. Just like I mentioned in the video about having a fear of God but really push me to stay away from it is how upset it made my wife that really made it real for me to quit cold turkey

Thank you for making this video. Very good, i self realised maybe 4 years ago about porn how dangerous it is for the mind and body, also your soul. I have the accountabilty, and i openly talk about this with everyone around me when i feel the timing is right because i feel as a man i need to say it. People needs to know and to themself take accountability.
