Don't forget about the Incubator Device which you can obtain from the For Science! side quest that starts in the Historical Customs Office between Tucma and Kisiwa, it halves the hatch time of the first egg in your party.

great video! as somone who likes the grind and RNG of breeding, i just wish they would re-work some of the mechanics. make it a bit more accessible like pokemon.
@saivec72242 жыл бұрын
They cant, if it was so easy like pokemon. The traiding and auction will be flooded by perfect lumas. This will make the market crash ash the luma values will lower and thats why we have fertility so u cant infinitely get perfect
@NessHypegaming2 жыл бұрын
@@saivec7224 im not talking about lumas exactly. i mean breeding in general. for example the DNA strands should be able to be obtained through lairs, dojo,etc. and the actual time for egg hatching as opposed to steps seems like a step back. theres reworks that could make the breeding better and more accessible.

With TemTem Showdown set to be released as part of the core game, with the idea being for integration with ranked battles - do you think breeding and the need for 50sv pokemon will dwindle? Crema have said that the need for good temtem will continue but not sure I see how - you could get away with 40+ stats for PvE content, so really build 1 team and then never have to do anything again. Just wondered what you thought.
@senchashogun4675 Жыл бұрын
You will still need to breed for the Tournaments and with the deactivation of Auto Scaling for ranked you will probably try to breed your luminas to get perfect SVs so there is still some reasons to breed

Breeding is unlocked very early although it becomes inaccessible a couple times throughout the story. Ultimately, it's really up to you. Breeding is not necessary for completing the game, but you can do it if you want. Breeding requires a lot of time and resources though so it may be better to do endgame, but the option is there if you want to before then.

Can you stack DNA strands? Like can I put an Immunity DNA strand and and Engineered DNA strand on the same Tem? Or do they overwright each other?
@GymLeaderEd2 жыл бұрын
They're held items so they can only go on one at a time. But you can put two separate DNA strands on both parents to get two stats to pass, then use two of the hybrid ones.
@marcoasturias85202 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that pretty much how pokémon's work, just factoring in holding everstone, bracers and such. Is there a way to modify SVs and learn egg moves without breeding? Or I'm better off buying mons for that?

I mean yes and no. You will be surprised how big a difference the fertility mechanic makes + the DNA strands. Destiny knot is a matter of RNG in temtem you need to rlly calculate and plan your bread or you are going to cost yourself ALOT of money and miss out on ALOT of profits

There are Egg Technique Courses which have previously been available as random rewards from catching the Koish of the Week or completing Mythical Lairs, although I don't know whether 1.0 provides new means for obtaining them. They teach one Temtem one of its egg moves. There are also Telomere Hacks and Hotfixes which increase one of your (i.e. one that you caught or hatched) Temtem's SVs by 1, although they decrease its fertility by 1 (if it still has any fertility). Telomere Hacks are more common than Hotfixes (there are even a few in item boxes) but don't work on Luma Temtem.

This breeding system would be fantastic if it didn’t make offsprings inherit their parents fertility, Like why? There’s no reason for that to be a thing. Not only would it make breeding stuff like pvps a bit easier but it would still prevent people from making to many copy’s.

Its hard to say man, pokemon is so fucking big that I think its impossible to make them threatened enough by a competitor for them to change anything, specially if its an indie game which will have it harder to make itself known. And temtem does a fuckton of things way better than pokemon, but it will go under the radar for the grand majority of people, aside from those that wont even give it a chance or even attack the game just because its not pokemon

@@Rubydrag33 These things take time and effort and people will notice. It has the spirit of Pokémon while being it’s own thing.
