I love your channel! It cheers me up always. When I was young, I played with dolls a lot longer than my friends did. Did you have a Baby Alive? Lol, it would “drink, poo and pee”. I would probably love a reborn doll, I lost my only child in 2020, my baby was 31. He was successful, extremely hard working, engaged to be married. He was finally settling down and I could not wait for a grandchild!!! My arms ache for a grandbaby to love, rock, spoil. When I lost Mitchell, I lost everything and now I’m very sick and completely alone. Think of me when you are celebrating holidays and birthdays and Mother’s Day. Y’all, my life is so sad now. ❤️

I disagree. I collect and customize Black dolls of all brands. My issue is the quality and choices. I specifically wanted a Silicone new born and at the time I was purchasing there was not one Black or Brown Silicone doll! They have several regular plastic and vinyl dolls listed as “silicone “ but are clearly just cheap scams. In my video I clearly show some beautiful authentic artist made Reborns and Silicone dolls that happen to be Black / mixed or ethnic. It is well known in the doll world that there are very few artists that make ethnic dolls well and with the same attention to detail as the White dolls. Sure there are cute Regular plastic Black dolls on the Temu site but that is not what I was looking for. To each his/her own.

I started when my daughter was 7 and now I buy them for my grand daughter. I’ve never spent more than $65, but I will gladly buy her a silicone one if she continues to enjoy them. I don’t always buy her ethnicity, I go for pretty babies & she is always excited. I laugh when I am over visiting because her room is starting to look like n orphanage. They make both of us smile. A TEMU ad featuring a black girl doll popped up on my screen, and when I briefly visited the site and looked closer at the doll, I didn't like the quality. I wasn't aware that the site has babies of this quality. You have to name her, Habiba! The baby powder will also give her that powder scent, common to babies. I suspect Winter's name is a play on Wintour (Anna). I used to dress my doll before going to school and imagined her going to work, so I can relate to the fantasy. Years ago I bought a black baby boy doll at a thrift store and was immediately able to find some clothes for him in the baby clothes section. I've never seen cotton clothing on TEMU. The plaid skirt looks better with the top to me. ❤ the hauls!
