Hi Chuck, I’ve bought a clone 372 a couple of years ago from a different company and it works great 👍🏼. Thanks for the demonstration.

I have 4 clone saws 660 395xp 372xp and some amazon 56cc something... they all do very well once you tune the carb correctly. Nice job!

FWIW: the metal of piston, the rings, the cylinder, and the rod are typically different. It's a good idea to let the saw idle for 60 seconds or so to bring all of those disparate metals up to temp before revvin' the heck out of it. I've found it works a whole lot better that way, and down the road.

ok first of all, the real husky was lean as hell and it held it back, second of all the fake husky was also lean as hell, both saws needed richened up on both the low and the high needle, but, it was nice to see the fake husky cut that well even tho the real husky was handicapped...im kindof impressed, both that the fake husky runs that well, and the fact that both of those saws cut that well running that lean, i would highly suggest learning how to properly tune a saw, you and your wallet will thank me later, one they gonna run way better, and two they wil live 10+ years instead of 2-3 years

What's the fuel mix? ON a chinese I have (small 25 cc), it runs 25:1.

Listen to the comments bud as that clone is not running correctly and neither is the oem ..

I’ve tried searching on Temu but nothing like this comes up. What did you type in the search bar?

What I'm going to say in this comment is not meant to be mean spirited just some friendly advice if you want it, beyond way to lean actually the clone 372 is on the verge of blowing up if you run it anymore like that. Your carb jet screw's are as follow's low jet is the one on the left turn it counter clockwise to add more fuel or richen which is very important and of course the high jet screw is the one on the right also counter clockwise to bring down your rpm's your revving it to the moon, it will sound crazy but not for long. Finally your idle screw is the one on the bottom but set your jet's then trim your idle. Hope that saw works out for you a lot of these clone saw's have a bad reputation for giving plenty of trouble getting them to run right, best of luck regardless.

Running lean and smoking. Because the fuel mix is I suspect 1 in 40 not 1 in 50. You have to run these in also.
@StuInTheSticks2 күн бұрын
@@ashleylaw With all due respect there's nothing wrong with running 40:1 50:1 is an epa regulation that's been pushed on the two stroke world, 40:1 is way better for a saw's crankshaft bearings by far even more so when breaking in a new saw. Side note all two strokes smoke more when you first start them because their still cold even if their lean and even if you use 50:1 mix, they have to get up to temp then the smoke show goes away but not completely they are still two strokes.

Engineers crying in their beer as I have always done it's know better than engineers who work all day everyday to design and engineer to legislation to manufacturers budget limits and still make stuff tough enough to last a few years in the hands of men who refuse to read the manuals.
@StuInTheSticks2 күн бұрын
@@ashleylaw Engineers are paid by manufactures to do the bare minimum most times and manufactures are driven by one rule, profit no matter what so I would say manufactures are not looking out for our best interests as consumers. it's been proven time and again 40:1 mix will give you much longer engine life in a two stroke, sorry but I'm not the only one that holds to that and that's not pretending to know better than engineers; that's real world results from many who work on and run saw's for a living myself included. We see what the inside of a saw looks like when it's been run to lean on jet settings and is burnt up from lack of mix oil used, 50:1 is bare minimum it was a rule developed and still used by the epa to "clean up" two strokes not to extend engine longevity; at the end of the day we are all entitled to our own opinions and beliefs and I can respect that.

Both of your saws sound dangerously lean. The carb jet screw closest to the cylinder is you low get, the one to the right is the high jet. The single screw below the two is you idle. Good luck with your saws.

He refused to read the manual. Engineers of the world crying into their beers. Why ? Do we bother ? Years of education years of designing and sweat to meet the legislation to make it legal to make it work to make it tough enough to make it to a manufacturing ability and budget ...

Before you blow up your saws, learn how to tune. Painfull to watch and an accident just waiting to happen.
