Hey Uncle Gentleman, I’ve been watching your content for a fair bit now and I quite enjoy it. I’ve switched from cartridge & canned shaving gel to DE & shaving cream. I often see people use a bowl and brush to lather up instead of just putting the cream on the brush and lathering on the face. Is there any benefit to making the lather in the bowl or is it just preference?

There's a lot of debate to that. I prefer using a bowl but I've found some soaps lather great on the face and there are others that do better if you whip them up in a bowl. It's really just trial and error with your preferred soap. Thanks for watching!
