Last week I went up to my friend's condo with his family and fished with them for the first time in my life. Caught a bass, bluegill, and crappie. Now I'm hooked on it and your videos are helping me learn how to fish. Different lures and what each one does, basic tips and tricks like this one. Keep up the great videos so more people like me get into fishing!

been out fishing twice since i started and was out for hours both times and caught nothing. this video alone showed me i was making several mistakes. thanks for the advice, and you’ve got a new subscriber
I like your videos and have subscribed. Short, to the point, practical. I'm a grandmother who hasn't fished much since my kids were little. Have only used worms and bobber and only caught sunfish. Ready to try more and your videos are just what I need to learn more.

Awesome video. Subbed. One mistake you caught me on was using too thick of fishing line. Was using 30lb test on a new rod I picked up and although I’ve still caught a couple fish on it, I’ve felt like my luck was eh. That is probably why. Currently changing the line right now

Awesome tips. I just got my first rod (ever) today after a friend introduced me to it a couple months ago. Wish me luck!

Yeah definitely do research when you go onto a new pond or lake because once we were fishing at a lake for an hour and a half until we figure it out it was a trout lake😕

What is test line? How is it different than fishing line?

The not too think of line thing is so satisfying to hear. I’ve been fishing with 6-10 lb for bass my whole life and almost never break off, idk why people think they need to use 25 lb line for a 2 lb fish

My question is how would I know if Im using the wrong lure? Can I just use a grub whenever or do I need to be specific?

Yeah I might just say fuck it to fishing. I work too late to wake up at 5am to fish, and I’m not taking off of work just go go fishing. I’m convinced that fishings for people that have literally nothing to do.
