isnt flourocarbon better than mono for lures because its more dense an sinks instead of floats in the water an is less visible, more sensitive to bites?

Been looking for good beginner fishing videos for my kids- you are hands down the best and that's awesome to find out you're in KC. I grew up up north in Kearney and spent almost every weekend I could fishing my grandpa's pond for crappie, bluegill, and catfish. Thank you for the great content!!

Thanks man! Only ever used live bait to fish with, never did lures before. I was wondering, when you tie to your main line, that means you'll need a few different poles with different lures? Or can you attach it to a snap swivle?
@joegraham15503 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the video (I'm actually in the KC area myself). Prior to this video, had picked up some rooster tails to try fishing with this next week - going out of town. Later on, I'll probably go back and look again at your suggestions. Don't expect to catch much, but haven't been fishing in over 35 years.

Hey man, thank you so much for this! My five year-old has been been after me to try fishing. When I finally decided to go ahead and do it, I realized I have no idea where to start when it comes to lures (the kid doesn’t have the patience to sit and watch a bobber or let bait sit on the bottom, lol). While I have all these wonderful memories of my great uncle teaching me to fish when I was about 10, as a 50 year-old those memories are pretty dim and come down to cutting up rubbery, strongly-stinking pieces of squid or using a simple silver spinning lure. This was just the sort of primer I have been looking for.

When using Google Maps just make sure to be mindful of how you have to get to the locations you are finding on there. Unless it is a public body of water you are trying to access, you will need permission from a land owner. And they are not obligated to automatically grant you permission.
