Was clear he should have been sacked at the end of last season and if City had performed in the FA cup final he would have been (or if he’d lost in the semis which they should have). I don't think the summer transfers this year have been a waste - just need a manager to get the best out of them. - Yoro is highly rated and for the future. Lots of other clubs wanted him. Ten Hag or not in post the club hierarchy wanted him. - De Ligt and Mazraoui are solid enough. The latter in particular for £14m has been a decent pickup. - Ugarte is the sort of CM we need and 23, just baffling he's not been playing. He should be starting every game, throw him in the deep end as he's the only CM with legs. - Zirkzee is still young and can be developed. For £34m in the modern market, that's basically what WHU paid for a 31 year old Fullkrug who's been injured since he arrived. He's assisted off the bench in the last couple of games. What needs to properly happen is clearing the shite and the players who've seen numerous managers sacked yet remain whilst not performing.

A different manager may have wanted different players, meaning if a new manager had been in during the past summer Utd would be a summer window ahead of where they are now. There would likely have been different targets, different priorities, etc. Instead Utd now need to assess the squad AGAIN when a new manager comes in and start moving people out, some of which could have been done or avoided all together if done earlier.

I watched him last season (Juventus fan here, some even linked him to Juventus for some time since we got Motta from Bologna, but I never wanted him) and I don't see anything impressive about him to be honest.
