That tandem at the end is a dream come true, like having an included whale watching experience when all you paid for was snorkel diving in the excursion you booked (based on a true story). I hope they don't do away completely with symmetrical design, but I imagine it'd be pretty cool and unique to experience the Caribbean - or anywhere else, for that matter - aboard a ship as whimsical as this. I WANT to go on that hike in Spanish Town! I've never been in a semi-cave like that before...or any other enclosed rock formation, for that matter.

Oh my goodness, this is gonna be our next cruise! We absolutely love Silver Spirit and we have another med cruise booked on her next year, only our second cruise so we are newbies. I have to confess I really wasn’t at all keen on the newer style Silversea ships but now that I’ve watched your video, I think we kinda really love it!❤. Great video, just makes me want to book immediately. Thank you guys, so informative as always, you add a bit of cheekiness and fun in the mix but so helpful and in-depth too. Love your videos, keep it up! I am now in the process of persuading hubby to get that cheque book out again and I have a very good feeling it will be on Nova 😂

What a beautiful video - absolutely loved this. My 2 take-aways here were that I couldn't believe the lack of any padding on your balcony seats - I'd have thought for the level of luxury Silversea are pitching at, you'd have a comfier option out there. Also, I had to laugh when P&O were directly opposite you - it's never struck me quite how different the experiences must be on these ships - the small ship passengers must hate sitting beside that all day, haha!

Thanks for watching Fraser! Yes, the balcony seating was a disappointment, seeing as all the other areas of the ship were incredibly comfy. Also, it didn't come over on the video too well but Arvia was making a deafening noise. The DJ was proper going for it - full Ibiza Mode! It was so funny! 😂

I know you must enjoy the sea activities, as the warmer climate is not on all cruises, but we always like to see the destinations. After we have spent money for the cruise, which does involve massive sacrifices at home, we like to make the most of the destinations. The cruise looks amazing. If only we could partake, but I feel lucky to go on Princess occasionally. Thx.

Hi Rich and Helen. Silver Nova is a gorgeous ship. Yes, she is a bit quirky, but lovely none the less. And your grand encounter with "Let's Throw Everything at it Of the Seas," The "Ascent" and the "Nova." 3 very different ships. If you can afford it, mass market insanity, Icon is your choice, If you want to step up your game, you then hit the "Ascent," and if your coffers overflow, then "Silver Nova and now Silver Ray, are at the top of the list, yes ?? It's good that you got to see the Far Eastern Caribbean, before Beryl Decimated the islands down in Grenada and the other islands close by.

Such a hard question to answer. We have a very soft spot for the Muse class of ships and think they’re probably still our favourite design, but there’s lots to love about the Nova class too 😍 We would do either in all honesty. Thanks for watching 😊

Sorry Richard we cannot book thru your travel agent as we live in Canada. Did you know that most cruise lines do not allow a person or agent to book outside their own country. Thx for lovely video. We were talking about your unpadded patio chairs and thought if cushions were an extra thing, not joined onto the chair, they could blow away. But if they were part of the chair then the rain could get on them. So it is a problem.

Another professional and intriguing video - thanks. Maybe it is just me - I seem to have a vague memory of a ship from a few decades back that held a bit less than 700 passengers that seemed to garner some fame on television. I am not sure if there is a perfect size for a ship however if there is, for me at least, it would not be 5000 or 7000 folks.

Have you tried Azamara? They are about 700 passengers and sometimes have some very good deals, especially on their inside and ocean view rooms. We would thoroughly recommend them ❤️

@@visitwithus thank you, a good tip. I have often checked them, but have never found a good price for an itinerary and date that I wanted. Right now I can’t go anywhere as waiting for a hip replacement. Had to cancel this past June’s long awaited 16 day Norway cruise on Princess from Southampton due to my pain. It was the 4 th year we had had it booked but what with Covid and other reasons had to cancel. But this was the first time we lost money as it was after full payment date. Lost quite a lot, but we knew that and insurance won’t pay out as it is a pre-existing condition. Here in Canada deposits are often refunded by the large cruise lines if one cancels before final payment date. I hear that is not the case in the UK?

You would have been better off to have a backpack and for Helen to have that or a crossbody bag, then you would have your hands free at the Boulder Beach. I would not be interested in that area. So did you pay for that? Thx for the lovely video.

Thank you Chris. The taxi to get to Boulders Beach was $5 each from where the tender dropped us and it was a few dollars each for the entrance to Boulders beach (sorry, can’t remember the exact price).
