He was such a sweetheart to Cinderella, even in the beginning when she was a ragged servant girl-love that they added that, gave the story more depth-then a mysterious 'princess' guest, then a servant girl again. A guy who was always kind and genuine, no matter what her appearance was! A great guy!

Nostalgia aside... honestly this version always felt kind flat and boring to me. There's not a lot of movement and it's all pretty static. That, and their acting is... okay at best. Comparing this to the 1999 version is like night and day for me, personally.

You know what? I think as a little girl in California, I met this actor where my mother worked at Melodyland. She had taken me to see "Bye Bye Birdie" there because of its connection to Elvis. I was shy and hiding behind Mom and her dress when she introduced us after his performance as Conrad Birdie. His name is Stuart Damon, and he was a major actor in the television soap opera, "General Hospital." At Melodyland, he, in a snug gold lamé costume, shook his hips and asked me, "Do you think I'm sexy?" I don't remember answering. I would have answered him today! 🙃

Manuel Orozco took me 3 days but here is a review. I watched the stage performances I found on KZbin, Keke’s Carly’s and Laura... I liked them, though I can tell each actress brought something different through the acting. But it was definitely a good watch. I’m glad R and H version is perpetrated, I’m a Disney fan but something in their version is magical. I also liked the stepsister Gabrielle, they improved her character in a great way. I didn’t like the Fairy godmother first but when she started singing « there’s music in you » I was conquered. This song (thanks to Whitney Houston) is one of my fave and the way she put emotion singing it I was in awe. The way they changed their dresses put some more magic in the show, I also loved the waltz, the way their dresses are spinning always fascinates me. But I didn’t like the prince being an orphan, I’m a fan of Queen Constantina and King Maximilian so I was upset.
