this is a great film of course but also History...show the way of life back then.....

I have a notion to second that emotion ! I can't understand why the studio (Fox) didn't film this in color ! I suppose the budget didn't allow for it. Bummer !! :-(

This was my introduction to Suzy Parker. And seeing that it also starred Diane Varsi, I was ensnared. I had read the novel, and enjoyed the film. I have had a spot in my thoughts for them both ever since.

Well said and well put, Hank ! Suzy and Diane were lovely ladies and talented actresses ! This was not Cooper's best film but it's a well acted & written 50's drama. Would have looked better in color ! Thanx for your comment !! :-)
