JB's vocal control is laser precise, it's beautiful. Kyle's whistle is haunting and harrowing. These two, as highly rated as they be, are still highly underrated.
@Merc_0158E7 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I saw a live version of them doing "More than Words" and the crowd was laughing when they'd harmonize. Almost as though the crowd expected them to botch it but when they did it better it was funny... sorta like weezer doin Africa. I laughed because i expected him to make fun but they improved it technically. Cracked me up! This one wasn't intended to be funny, it's more of a tragedy yet people still laugh. This one may prove out, over time, to be TD's defining song. It's their roots.

So Hollywood Jack and the Rage Kage were touring down under And for Kage’s birthday they asked him to make just one wish He thought for a moment then bellowed out loud to the crowd… “I wish for next time that whoever shoots Trump doesn’t miss” Well Hollywood Jack, he looked on aghast, And he knew that this would cause uproar, His chance dropping low, of now still voicing Po And they’ll screen all his calls for the next Mario “The tour must end now! I cannot allow For every cash cow, to come crashing down!” And so Hollywood Jack pulled the plug and put out a statement: “The tour is now over, all future plans are on hold” Is this the end of Tenacious D? Haters and trolls will look on with glee But Jables and KG, like the Phoenix they’ll rise They’ll rock off our ears and they’ll dazzle our eyes The D is eternal, the band resolute A comeback is on, there is no dispute And if any of this you wish to refute Just please remember… this is a tribute
