It wasn't really planned by him doing an album. He didn't even want to play music after Kurt died, at least I think he said something like that in some interviews. But then he started recording and because he had no band he did it all alone. Then the demos started circeling and he published it without changing much.

Scott Pilgrim is f*cking classic..... Pick of Destiny is pretty funny, but simplistic. Scott Pilgrim has so many layers. I think I saw it about 10x before I understood everything. Rock music, anime, comicbook and gaming culture. Something for every form of nerd.

The song “tribute” by tenacious D is actually a song singing about the rock off with the devil in this film, but they “couldn’t remember” the song they sang so they sang tribute, in real life tribute came out before the film so they obviously just made the film ending fit their old song but it’s cool how they basically made the music video for their own old song the unofficial “sequel” to their own movie lol

Which interestingly "in universe" Tribute is almost certainly referring to their half of Beelzeboss, as hinted by them saying towards the end of the movie that it was the greatest song, and they couldn't remember how it went. My sister manages mine. But it’s not difficult. The trickiest part is parting your hair correctly, after you do that just use your fingers to twist, and then keep doing that every 2-3 months, re twisting the new growth. Key points to keep in mind. -There is an ugly stage. You must embrace it. -Depending on your hair type, it may takes months for it to lock. -After you twist or retwist, keep your hands out of your hair and wrap your hair up at night (absolute must.) -Don’t wash it often, you will just wash out the twist. -Keep your scalp moisturized, I usually do it when I retwist and don’t have to do it again. Hope this helps, I’m going on my 5th year here pretty soon! My hair now is much longer than what you seen in this video, which is almost 2 years old. Just watch one of my more recent reactions.
