NYC is the worst city for landlords. The city is always with the tenant even when the tenant is in the wrong and makes it impossible for landlords to properly take care of tenants on top of increasing real estate taxes and regulations. I sympathize with landlords not the tenants

Those old elevators are a death trap, when I lived in the bronx as a kid i hated going on those things.

Wow I thought that was my building on the thumbnail. I thought someone finally got my apartment building on the news. My apartment has also been having inconsistent heat problems, hot water going in and out, dirty water coming out of the pipes, outlets not working. This is a ridiculous problem going on in many Bronx apartment and buildings. Idk how many times I’ve complained to 311 about the heat and it’s still a problem. Right now on December 7, 2024 at 4;20 pm while it’s 38 degrees outside, the heat is NOT ON! In my apartment. this is unacceptable, we pay rent and still don’t have decent, bare minimum housing needs. And HPD DO NOT FIRE or CLOSE THESE MANAGEMENTS???????
