This honey cake recipe has been in our family for more than 20 years. Anyone can make a very soft and delicate cake, it just takes a little time and enjoyment of the process.
Honey cake recipe:
- 2 eggs
- 200 g of sugar
- 60 g of butter
- 80 g of honey
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda (with a slide)
- 500 g of flour + 50 g for rolling
Cakes are baked for 2-3 minutes at 180 Celsius
Cream:
- 650 g sour cream
- lemon juice and zest (optional)
- 20 g of vanilla sugar
- 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar
- thickener for cream
