Its so annoying. Inner wrist, ring finger flexor tendon, hurts only when I extend my hand fully or the skin on my inner forearm is pulled/tightened, and its a real painful burning feeling just in that region. I put a wrap around my wrist, of anything just to remind me not to make the motions that trigger it, but the compression seems to help a bit with the pain when I still forget anyway. It's such an annoying affliction, right up there with ear infection, sore throat, and canker sores. The 4 horsemen of the apocalypse.

Stretching my wrist only makes the pain worse. It becomes extremely sore the next day and I haven't had any success with it. I have limited range of motion in my left wrist, and I've had to cease all gym activities that strain my wrist. So, I've had this injury for 10 months since I injured it in the gym. I worked through it hoping the pain would eventually subside yet here we are 10 months later. So I'm wearing a brace unsure if that's a good strategy at all. The brace is there to prevent me from straining my wrist. So, I take fish oil and glucosamine to reduce inflammation and make sure I eat healthy most of the time to overcome any "nutritional deficiencies." The only factor left is as you say tight muscles/ structures. Would that mean my left forearm is tight? And I assume myofascial release would relax my forearm over time? I can't tell if my wrist has microtears, indicating I have tendonosis or chronic tendonitis where my wrist is always inflamed. My forearm doesn't necessarily feel tight, but that may just be manifesting as wrist pain when bending it. What do you think?
@TendonitisExpert3 жыл бұрын
Stretching too tight muscle and connective tissue A. exerts pressure on everything connected to it and B. irritates the already irritated structure/ecology. Brace is fine to get you through the day, but not a good long term strategy. Myofascial release is good/worth a try. If it works, great. If it doesn't, there's reasons why. Microtears and/or tendonoisis, IF you have it, are symptoms of the largery problem, which is the Tendonitis Dynamic: too tight muscle and connective tissue, inflammation process, and nutritional lack. Tightness results in wrist pain when bending, etc, yes. Sounds like a Tendonitis Dynamic to me. Maybe you caused an actual rip/tear injury when lifting, but chances are you're just hurting from the tendonitis dynamic.

Hi! Four questions... 1. Can wrist/hand tendonitis cause sharp pain and "resistance" in the fingers? For example, when I make a tight fist and point with my index finger, I feel a sharp, painful resistance when I try to lift it up. The pain often spreads across my other fingers or down the wrist on the palm side. I feel the same pain in all fingers when I pull up on pants and socks, open doors, etc. When I'm in bed I can't even pull my blanket up to my chin. I'm not sure what's going on here... It's not osteoarthritis (been tested for that). I assume it's related to overuse/repetitiveness of my job (gripping/pulling), but I stopped that activity a couple months ago and haven't found much info on the resistance thing. 2. Can this condition cause morning stiffness and tightness in the fingers? When I wake up in the mornings, I can't close my hand all the way, and have to run hot water over it to loosen it. Then my fingers feel tingly and tight, as if they're swelling. My thumb is affected the worst; it's always stiff, tight, hypersensitive to touch, and burning. Sometimes I can't do a "thumbs up" or touch my thumb to my pinky finger. It's not De Quervain's... My wrist does not hurt when I test for that (and the cortisone shot didn't help anyway). 3. Can this possibly be related to tennis below? I developed it from pulling down on a lever repeatedly at work. The pain is much better now, but I still feel it now and then. My hand/finger pain developed spontaneously, about 2-3 weeks after that diagnosis, but I wonder if they could still be related... 4. My other symptoms: tightness at the back of my hand/wrist (especially while my elbow is bent), inability to extend my wrist back fully, unable to put pressure on hand or wrist, and inability to bear heavy weight. Nothing heavier than a tall glass of water. Does this sound like tendonitis?

"1. Can wrist/hand tendonitis cause sharp pain and "resistance" in the fingers?" Yes. Tight muscles in the forearm attach to tendons that attach to fingers. When tight, it's pulling fingers into the forearm, compressing joints. How did they test for osteoarthritis? Osteoarthritis is a result of long periods of time with compressed joints. "2. Can this condition cause morning stiffness and tightness in the fingers?" Yes. Tightness causes, well, tightness (stiffness) and inflammation, which results in what you describe, basically. It's a more complex explanation, but yes. Corticosteroid injections don't always help, so that doesn't mean anything, diagnosticaly. Dequervains is just a flavor of the tendonitis dynamic, everything tendonitis plus development of a very aggravated irritated swollen tendon sheath. "3. Can this possibly be related to tennis elbow?" Yes. It's all the same thing. Tightness causes reduce function and all the symptoms. "4. Does this sound like tendonitis?" Ultimately, yes. Too tight muscle and connective tissue, inflammation process, and nutritional lack, all conspire to reduce the ability to function properly and increase symptoms....which reduces function and increases symptoms.....which reduces function and increases symptoms...which....

Hi, Joshua. I have developed Tendonitis dynamics in my right wrist after wearing plaster cast for 2 months, two years ago. The symptoms have just abruptly appeared since this year. My bone is fully recovered. Your opinion, what has happened to me? My flexibility is still very good compared to my left forearm.
@Ingle705 жыл бұрын
I’ve bought your book, by the way.
@TendonitisExpert5 жыл бұрын
Casting and immobility (basically) causes the connective tissue to shrinkwrap. So cast comes off and your stuck tight, plus all the other tightening factors like chronic inflammation and nutritional lack and lack of uscles moving through any range of motion while casted. Tendonitis after a break and a cast is entirely common.

I use a computer on my tv in the living room. I use a keyboard and mouse on my coffee table. If I don’t have carpal tunnel or tendinitis call me Wolverine. I just thought I’d feel pain before i got it. But it kinda just creeped up on me. Is that common?
@TendonitisExpert2 жыл бұрын
That's generally exactly how it happens. It slowly progresses for months (years, really) and then eventually gets to a point where you feel it a little bit, it goes away, it comes back, it goes away, you kinda get used to it, then it stays, then it gets worse and worse until you finally realize that there's a real problem and it's not going to just go away on it's own.

Hello Mr Joshua, I don't want to get to details because I am going to write an essay. I had wrist injuries (tendons ecu both wrists) during my workout for years ago. I also injured my shoulders. Fast forward 4 years later I have no damage in tendons but I have pain in forearms trigger points tightness etc. At times I reversed the symptoms for some days weeks but the symptoms came back due to stressful conditions etc. I think that the pain system has been sensitized or having CRPS. What do think?

I think you have chronic tightness and long story short that causes pain etc. Tightness eats up nutrition and causes inflammation which causes pain and more tightness and eats up nutrition, which causes more tightness which.....

It means any of a few things, but mostly, there's a tendonitis dynamic (too tight muscle and connective tissue, inflammation process, and nutritional lack) that results in muscles/structures not being able to function correctly, and long story short, results in pain and/or pain when you use those structures.

I will be honest. Your website looks incredibly dodgy, like the UI and formatting of it is straight out of 2003. You go to the 3 factors constantly. Tightness, Inflamation and Nutritional Insufficiency. Yet you are not willing to share them without selling the information. Maybe that is fair. I can find no reviews of you online other than your website. (Yes I have seen your testimonials on your website, but can find no mention of you elsewhere on the internet). Your videos have the likes and dislike hidden. You claim to have this hidden knowledge of solving the issue that no PT, Osteopath, Doctor and so on has figured out. Yet, there are no third party sources to corroborate this. If I did want to purchase one of your resources, why should I? When I have zero confidence that you are in anyway legitimate.

"Your website looks incredibly dodgy, like the UI and formatting of it is straight out of 2003." Yep, it's old structure. I'm not going to spend time/money on making it look pretty. I'm after people that are looking for content that makes sense to them. Also, I am skilled at medical massage, not computer graphics/website UI/etc. "You go to the 3 factors constantly. Tightness, Inflamation and Nutritional Insufficiency. Yet you are not willing to share them without selling the information. Maybe that is fair." Nobody every complains that their doctors or PT's or osteopaths or podiatrists charge for their services, yet it's one of the main complaints here. If you only want free information, there's plenty of youtube videos out there with free tips and tricks. "I can find no reviews of you online other than your website. (Yes I have seen your testimonials on your website, but can find no mention of you elsewhere on the internet). " I know, it's weird. Been around online 15+ years (13+? something like that) and there's almost nothing out there good or bad. Outside of my control, so.... *helpless shrug* You claim to have this hidden knowledge of solving the issue that no PT, Osteopath, Doctor and so on has figured out. Yet, there are no third party sources to corroborate this." I don't claim to have hidden knowledge. My 'knowledge' is the bare bone basics of how the body works, including the nutrition side of tendonitis, and doctors etc just aren't trained in that, rely on their Standard of Care methodology, and don't bother investigating how to fix their patients that their specific toolbox fails to fix. My stuff is super basic (kind of like, if there's a flat tire, you need to a. put air in the tire and b. fix any leak....basic but required for function). Any of the professionals you listed could figure it out if they bothered to try. "If I did want to purchase one of your resources, why should I? When I have zero confidence that you are in anyway legitimate." If you have zero confidence, you definitely shouldn't. Having said that, I offer a no questions asked money back guarantee. Which, by the way, none of the doctors etc you listed offer. So...doesn't matter how much confidence you have in them...if they don't fix your problem, you're out of luck. Much of my clientele are individuals who eventually lost all confidence in their doctors etc, and had to go looking for answers elsewhere.

@@TendonitisExpert Thank you for the reply. I started getting symptoms about two years ago in the part of the elbow linked with tennis elbow. (Upper forearm). This was from using a mouse too much, and scrolling on my phone too much. It then started to affect my guitar playing. Doing any fine slow motion like drawing is also incredibly painful. I am also unable to put much pressure down on my right wrist, say in a push up. I do them with my fists clenched these days which is fine. But if I put weight onto it there is a sharp stabbing pain. I assume it's just a symptom of overall tightness in the forearm as I have never had anything like a broken arm. Which of your programmes would you reccomend for myself? I would like to be able to play guitar again and draw again. Basically be able to use my arm without the top part of my forearm hurting. Now you say money back guarantee. What is there to back this other than just trusting that you would return the money? Thank you.
@TendonitisExpert4 жыл бұрын
Muscles/structures are too tight. So you can't get functional range of motion to do a regular pushup. Also, the tighter a muscle is the less functional it is, long story short, leading to your pain etc. It's a multifactored dynamic. I suggest the Reversing Guitar Tendonitis program. Elbow and/or wrist, it's all about the muscles/structures in the middle, so the program should/will help symptoms at elbow and wrist. "Now you say money back guarantee" I always say money back guarantee. Nothing 'now' about it. There is nothing structural that backs anybody's money back guarantee ever anywhere. Worst case scenario, dispute it with your credit card and show them one of my no questions asked money back guarantee promises next to every one of my products (except the phone consult). I don't actually know if that's binding or not to credit card purchase, probably is. Never had an issue with it. You'll notice there's nothing on the internet anywhere complaining that I don't honor my money back guarantee.

However, I have been unable to do something like a push-up, or a plank for years because I can't bend my wrist in that direction without a lot of pain (& when I have tried to do this my wrist flairs back up and hurts constantly for weeks again - until I stop using it and ice it).
