Tenere 700 Black Widow Exhaust - Sound and Install

I'm running Arrows headers, custom mid-section, and a Chinese fake Akra with a K+N filter,and a 3D printed airbox lid on both my CP2 bikes,no ECU flash needed...night and day,and it doesn't cut out as with the standard exhaust...'21 model Tracer7, and '16 model XSR700

The paste seals the connection between the two pipes. If you were replacing the header pipes, you would need to also replace the gaskets that go between the headers and the cylinder

Hi! Nice job! What about the distance between muffler and the swingarm? Is it more or less like with the original muffler?

The silencer is narrower so there is more clearance

Not necessary for slip on

Yes. Only a full system would require remapping

looks great, i fitted the same slip-on. is it normal to have like 0.4 inch ( 1 cm) space between the link pipe and the swingarm?

It’s pretty close. Just make sure you check it if you go down on the exhaust side so it doesn’t rub the swing arm if it gets bent.

I didn’t wait to run it. It looks like the heat hardens the paste and creates a seal. No leaks that I can see

The racks are from andystrapz.com and I have a pair of Tusk soft panniers mounted to a quick release plate from Giant Loop. I need to do a video on that setup one day soon. It’s really compact, holds a lot of gear, and is easy to remove when needed.

It does come with the link pipe but if you want the headers they are separate.

Warranty should be fine with a slip on. Although it’s very rare that there would be an engine issue anyway. These bikes are so reliable

Just ordered the same for my WR. How bad is it when touring WITH baffle in? Say anything over 65-70mph?

I normally ride with earplugs and honestly the wind noise is more bothersome than the sound of the exhaust which isn’t bad at all

@@MotoSouthgot it delivered and fitted. It’s fine with baffle, like it much more than stock. Rode it for an hour in town without a baffle though, that was just too loud for my liking. Had to ride with my mouth open!
