Welcome to vlog 18 since moving from the USA to UK. We're going full circle to where Mike and I first met and taking a trip to SPAIN. It was my first time in Tenerife and although the trip didn't go exactly as planned, we still had a super fun time and are so glad to bring you along!
Thanks for being here! We hope you enjoy the vlog.
XOXO,
Jord

We traveled from London to the Tenerife South airport to arrive in Los Cristianos which, is a quite touristy area on the south coast of Tenerife. when deciding where to stay in Tenerife we were between Playa de Las Americas, Adele and Los Cristianos. We ended up chasing our area because it seemed to be the least touristy of the three but still had a lot going on and had a little more of an authentic Spanish vibe.
On day one we had a quick chat about the plan for our trip and we gave a little tour of the apartment/ hotel we stayed in. Where we stayed in Tenerife was along the cost, just a few minutes walk from the beach, the old town of Los Cristianos, and Las Americas.
We went to a cute area to eat on the first day where there were gorgeous, uninterrupted views. We ate at Sal Negra for lunch on our first day which, we recommend for seafood and a good view. the food wasn't out of the world but the views made up for it. Following lunch we went on a walk along the coast and checked out some bars along the beach which are a dime a dozen. We went to La Americas to check out the shopping area as well. For dinner that night we went to Old town and had Spanish food and sangria at El Burgado. Later, we had a more chilled evening and went to have some drinks and hookah at Habibi which, we highly recommend for the same views as Sal Negra, amazing Lebanese foods and good drinks.
On day two we ate and drank our way along the coast having lunch seaside in Los Cristianos, late drinks in Playa de Las Americas with stunning sunset views at Meat Flavor Farmer and had dinner at Pip cafe where they offered a tapas style menu in Adeje. That night we went out in Tenerife at an area called Veronica's strip where you can find the popular club Papagayo where they have DJs playing an a fun going out vibe. It felt a bit young for us that night so we opted for some other bars along the trip.
The next day we went for a walk, lunch at Habibi Lebanese restaurant and a day on the beach.
Our final day was similar to the previous 3 because our plans tp rent a car and go to El Teide as well as the cables cars failed. Next time, we'll make it more of a priority and definitely get a drivers permit!!
Finally, we went for a small hike to get to a gorgeous look out point call Montana Chayofita which is walking distance from the city area and a stunning place to see the mountains and waterfront at sunset- or sunrise if you're that type!
We finished o the vlog off with bloopers per usual.
Thank you so much for tuning in and we hope to see you in the next one.
Love you, XOXO
