I really hope DE keeps giving non-incarnon weapons cool unique utility type mods. If they can't keep up with damage, give them another purpose in our loadouts that help other tools. But also tools that still incentivize to use the weapon, unlike say the amalgam mods where you don't use the weapom the mod is on at all.

It wasn't very long ago at all that Lich weapons were praised as world enders. Nothing has changed. Dead is dead, and you don't get any extra credit for more overkill. Sometimes the way a weapon works is just more enjoyable in context. I can't see a need for anything to change about these guns.
@pathfinderamihan67535 ай бұрын
@@chaosgyro i said non-incarnons. i didnt say lich weapons. the fact that this utility mod happens to be on a weapon with a lich variant is just a coincidence. my point is to broadly all weapons that fall out of favor over time due to newer, stronger weapons being added. that they can make more weapons relevant by giving them a utility purpose rather than as you said, giving weapons overkill.
@chaosgyro5 ай бұрын
@pathfinderamihan6753 Well, non-incarnons get incarnon adapters. That's sort of the point. Outside of those I'd still say there are plenty of weapons that are good enough that are neither lich nor incarnon. It's not all, but it's still a pile.
@pathfinderamihan67535 ай бұрын
@@chaosgyro not every weapon can have an incarnon adaptor for example anything with a built in alt fire. you're missing my point. my point is that mods like these are interesting because they have a use *outside* of doing more damage. this mod is an energy generator. thats useful even tho this beam weapon doesnt do aa much damage as the torid. i can easily seeing slotting this in on frames i want to focus on abilities. DE should add more stuff like this is all.
@piterrospl95125 ай бұрын
From what I know, in terms of raw power in its category, it's second to Torid Incarnon. And considering that Incarnons are a thing locked behind SP, and that being locked behind New War, Angels of the Zariman and Whispers in the Walls, it makes for a good early game option (since Liches/Sisters are available right after The War Within, much earlier in the general progression). And the added utility of the NW augment sounds really nice.

@D012874105 ай бұрын
I think going Cold+ Magnetic+ Corrosive is better for this weapon. You apply cold stacks so fast that most enemies are slowed to a complete crawl, and the cold stacks do bump up the crit damage a lot as well ( and that will be buffed with the new update). Two emerald shards and this thing strips armor off enemies at stupid speeds. Corpus units will fall over as their shields get evaporated by the magnetic procs, and infested will just be slowed to the point they can do anything (will be frozen fully solid in the new update). I think with the armor changes coming soon, I believe Hunter Munition will lose some of its luster as well as the go to Viral Heat set ups everyone just slaps on weapons and calls it a day.

I'd like to say its worth putting punch through on as it increases the number of enemies you can chain too. I've been using it with primed shred and its very good.
@8bitmemorylane1665 ай бұрын
This. Slotting Primed Shred in place of the 3rd 60/60 elemental would arguably be a noticable DPS increase for this particular build, even if it's just for the added fire rate alone. Though I read somewhere that the additional beams on punch through are significantly weaker than those chaining from the main target.
@ZombieMonkey3054 ай бұрын
I'm also running Primed Shred on this, it's VERY good. I have roughly the same build as Brozime, but I swap HM for Primed Shred, and Radiated Reload is nice for that extra element and the reload speed makes up for not having Merciless in place of Frostbite.

Honestly I kindve rely on the percentage usage but as well what the community has enjoyed I’ve seen good positivity around T glaxion and without a doubt now I’ve now enjoyed using magnetic damage a ton now ever since stat rework and I think we need to actually give this a fair shot that Torid could have competition itself the further updates we even get
@stephenconley51735 ай бұрын
People were saying why use this when the Torrid exists but I built mine yesterday with radiation/corrosive/cold with no forma yet and I found it just as effective at killing SP enemies as the Torid but more fun to use because it slows down the enemy with cold and confuses them with radiation and it chains enemies better IMO. They couldn't even get near me before they were dead. My Torid kills a little bit more quickly but it's not half as fun as the Tenet Glaxion and I don't have to proc Incarnon for it.
@Kasandra_5 ай бұрын
Highly recommend dropping radiation for galvanized scope and swapping the arcane to deadhead. Headshots are trivial with this gun and it doesn't need shards to significantly outperform the rad version with shards.

Question So I’ve got no tenet or kuva weapons and I plan (hopefully) to start farming them I’m thinking about using a Radiation frame and just taking them as they come (what with me not having any, any will do) as it’s kinda a safe bet, is this wise or would a different progenitor be a better “”safe”” option when I don’t know what I’ll be farming? Open to any good answer, would like a reason as to what anyone says so I can learn from the info instead of just knowing it but not why.
@stephenconley51735 ай бұрын
People generally go for a toxin progenitor because it frees up mod slots for things like viral/corrosive that require 2 mods and toxin is good with almost all other statuses. I made my last 2 weapons Radiation though because the Sanctum enemies are weak to it and I'm still trying to rank up with Cavia.
@Yung.Ert.5 ай бұрын
As the person above said, for end game content, can’t really go wrong w radiation but w the new changes coming armor stripping w corrosive or toxin will both probably be viable all around. Magnetic is a good option bc it will always be strong -> It’s good on shields and over guard so it’s relevant always. That plus whatever elements you mod make magnetic a really solid choice too. I’d say radiation is good but the other 2 mentioned (and corrosive when modding) are your best bets for something more generic
@stephenconley51734 ай бұрын
@@Yung.Ert. You are 100% correct. @chaosgyro5 ай бұрын
@PrimalInstinct0704 Progression at this point is really just maximization. Do archon hunts to get shards. Gather weapons/frames you don't have. Farm and max arcanes that are worth it. Get all the weapons, frames, and companions you're missing. Max out focus schools as the masochistic drive strikes you. Really just farm what feels fun at the time until you're tired of it. Then farm something different. If you can handle Steel Path on a handful of frames with a number of different loadouts then you don't particularly require more power. It's just about finishing out checklists and enjoying the grind.
