TENET Prologue and Final combat scenes edited together

The original scenes take around 10 minutes each and the first version of this was 8 min long but for copyright reasons, I had to make this as short as possible :(
Tenet may have its flaws but Mr. Nolan never fails to deliver visually breathtaking films. The prologue and the last battle are only one of the many highlights of Tenet without a doubt, as is the score.
I've noticed a lot of similarities in how these two scenes unfold. Here's my try at putting the events that happen on the same day in the timeline of Tenet together.

SATOR AREPO TENET OPERA ROTAS It's an ancient latin inscription which can be read from all sides, having TENET in the middle. Every part is nonsense if read singularly, but it rhymes and fits perfectly with the other parts. The movie adapts the same method: Sator is the villain (Sator means "creator"), Arepo is the author of the painting (Arepo means both falx or wooden frame), Tenet is the final part of the movie (it's ten and net, which could refer to the 10 minutes of both blue and red squad, but some translates tenet to Tota Essentia Numero Est Tracta, which means "the whole essence is obtained by the number", and it could be this case, because the word also means "holder, guide"). And then there's Opera, the place where everything "begins", and Rotas, which are the wheels of destiny (everything must happen, as Neil says). Final comment: everything takes place mostly in the same time, the tenet holds everything together, everything happens as a prefixed unchangeable scheme (rotas). Good job Nolan.

After the first few times I watched Tenet, I liked to think that the very first loud gunshot in the opera was meant to either sync up with Kat shooting Sator on the yacht or the explosion at Stalsk-12. Either way, when you look at how and when the finale plays out, the symbolism of the that very first loud gunshot means Sator's plan is already stopped. You could even say it was the impetus that inspired the Protagonist to start Tenet as an organization.

@@theheeze Something else that's trippy to think about; Sator Inverted himself and died in the past, Sator is dead by the time the movie starts. Technically, the first time we see Sator in the movie, on his Yacht after TP drops off Kat, he's blocked by the sun and is shown as a silhouette, and suddenly appears in the sitting room with Kat. It's almost as if he's a ghost and we're just watching him catch up to the moment of his death.

@@rastas4766 The film is intended to tell an uplifting, relatable story about a certain set of characters, with the Tenet organization dealing with the rest of it. That’s just not what you’d prefer. A movie set in World War I might choose to focus on a family on the home front instead of the battles themselves. That doesn’t mean that it fails to take advantage of the more interesting ideas (the intense and novel combat in that war).

First act pacing and at times weird dialogue that did not seem like it was written by Nolan at all. At the beginning I felt a little disappointed because it all looked like a quest that was happening for no particular reason because the pacing was...too fast? It's just like my edit, I had to squeeze a lot of action into a vid that's under 4 minutes and it does feel rushed and might seem muddled to some. So at first Tenet felt like a film watched at x2 speed with some parts being cut out until it catches its breath in the second half. As for the dialogue... some lines simply feel unnecessary and stiff. In the end, all of this doesn't seems substantial when you look at the bigger picture and marvel at how grand and interesting the idea is. Plus, there's a lot of heart in it even though some say it "fails" at emotion and MC's motivation.

The movie is about people who can turn time backwards, waging a secret war against each other. The beginning of the movie is a terrorist attack on an opera house to steal data that can be used to end the world, there the Protagonist is encountering all of this for the first time. The movie ends with them going back in time, and having a battle to keep the enemy from burying the information. (If the information is buried at that spot, evil nations in the future will know to find it there and turn all of time backward, deleting all of the current day from existence). The point of this video is that the beginning of the movie and the ending, due to the time travel, actually take place on the same day. So while the Protagonist is only first stumbling into this secret war in the fight in the opera, fighting to protect the information from being captured, at the same moment in the mountains there's a future copy of the Protagonist who knows everything about the war, fighting to sabotage the villains final plan. In the movie these are presented separately but it's all happening at the same time. The middle of the movie takes place months AFTER the ending of the movie

I even wonder after watching tenet that nolan has copied this concept from dark series. The real MVP of this time travel concept is DARK. You should definitely watch dark. 10x better than tenet but only difference is tenet is a movie whereas dark is a series so better get a notepad and pen to note down everything 😂😂
