It's confusing because the highway scene happens after seeing Sator hiding in the room asking for information on the radio but before it's explained what the masks mean. So when we see Sator on the highway with a mask and Kat can operate non inverted, it's hard to realize that masked Sator is not the Sator we just saw. It looks like Sator just went from that building to the highway but really we're seeing a later Sator on the highway first then in the Blue Room before seeing him randomly enter the Red Room, but by the time we find out he was inverted, it's hard to remember the earlier details because they weren't significant at first.

Yes, you are absolutely right. Hence, most people need to watch this scene a few times before fully understanding it. And what you said is also true because both inverted and non-inverted people occur simultaneously, so there are 2 versions of Sator at the same time.

Sators perspective helps fit the pieces together for me. The real moment is where Pro-Neil start the chase in forward time, here through sators pov the first sequence finally feels like they are chasing HIM in reverse 4:10. He escapes in reverse to where the Protagonist alone is flipped and sets the fire. The algorithm piece was always in the Saab that was by the freeport.

5:30 I don't know how long the civilians in the background have been there. I'd imagine the first civilian on scene saw an inverted crew (Neil's people) bring a frozen car to the road (flipping it upside down via tow-truck) and then bringing an "an unconscious man" out on a stretcher and putting him inside the car then leaving. (All of this 👆backwards, of course) Next, they notice the ice melting.... and starting to smoke.... Then Sator arrives and walks backwards towards the car as it explodes invertedly for a moment before a lighter flips up from the ground to Sator's hands and he walks towards it having a brief word with the Protagonist (backwards language). Then he walks backwards into the SUV and invertedly drives off the scene (beginning the first chase scene we were introduced to with the Original Protagonist and Neil/They're arriving to this inverted car waiting to be flipped right side up). ? I think that's how it goes ?🤷‍♂

Your version of Sator’s perspective is the best one on KZbin. So, can anyone clarify the path of the algorithm, in normal time? Heres how i think it happened: 1) Inside the Armored Truck; 2) In the BMW with TP; 3) TP throws it into the inverted Saab, which he sees is being driven by himself, so he trusts it (?); 4) Inverted Saab gets to the turnstile; 5) Sators men pick it up. How is sator able to tell the future by radio that it is in the saab??

It doesn't have to be via radio while he's inverted. He can just have one of his men go and get it once he starts moving forwards again offscreen.

Because The Protagonist jumped in the car and stopped it to save Kat. If you look at at in reverse then this is what accelerated the car.

@@danilocarita5723 the audi isn't inverted, it's a normal car being driven by inverted people. If it was inverterd then it wouldn't of stopped when the protagonist originally pressed the brake.

Someone help... what was Sator counting up for at 4.11?? He's not waiting for d protagonist to hand over d case, since from his perspective he's d one who's returning the empty case to d protagonist, right? Or am I getting it wrong?

He counted up in order to convince TP to give up the case, knowing TP would see this in reverse (and therefore look as if he's counting down to when he will shoot Kat). He's taking advantage of the fact TP does not fully understand inversion yet. He does something similar in the interrogation scene.

Because the scene is from the reversed point of view, Kat wasn’t leaving the room, she was entering it in reverse

dont think of back to the future time travel, think of it as a loading bar. you slowly go into the past (until the inverted radiation wheres off and the main time stream kicks in and takes over). you enter the time machine and you slowly go back in time, and able to interact with things. (in world explantion i assume is items you touch get mild/temperary inverted radiation) example, you walk outside with a ball in your hand and you see a masked man, and yourself holding the same ball alongside a machine and a box, you try to drop the ball at shoulder heigth and a masked person puts his hand under yours right as the ball falls under his hand and the ball sticks to his palm facing down. he micheal jacksons (walks backwards) to the machine. youreself hands you the ball he is holding then tells you to put a suit on and go inside it. you enter with the masked man and you leave the machine to see yourself walking backwards and undressing the suit. he walks backwards to the porch and you put your hand with the ball under his and it flies up to his hand, he walks backwards inside the house. you see the other you with a ball in his hand. he puts the ball in a box, puts a suit on, and walks backwards into the machine with you. you leave the machine, take the suit off, grab the ball in the box, while there is a backwards person standing by the machine. yall wait, you see yourself walk ouside with a ball, the backwards guy takes the ball as it drops, you tell yourself to put a suit on, hands yourself the ball, and he walks into the machine and now there is no one, they dissapear you are the futherest point in time. no matter how long you wait no one will come out unless you see some one and a backwards person going in at the sametime. its alone way of saying kat's timeline is still going forward like everyone elses, she remembers being in a car driving backwards, being taken, then being shot in that order. (idk if this will confuse you more but, sator sees her unlearning things during the highway heist)

Kind of, so when sator goes into the blue room, kat has already been shot but sator hasn't actually done it yet himself. Cause and effect is reversed. Then when he does shoot her it appears he's unshooting her. However he is just doing what we saw him do from the red perspective if that makes sense. Blue Sators present is now going through the past of what the red normal characters have just experienced.

From her perspective she was originally at the warehouse then taken by backwards sator to the point of the car flip, then back to the warehouse again all whilst moving forward through time.

No because she is always moving forwards in time so she JUST gets taken into the blue room by a version of sator who hasn't actually gone into the turnstile yet. The normal Sator who is hiding in the red side , his future is going to be what the normal characters have just experienced (their past) so this is why he asks the questions in a backwards manner. If you are inverted you can physically be in 2 places at the same time. But because Kat hasn't inverted yet she's only 1 place now.
