Honestly though, who wouldn't fall in love with her? She's the complete package! She's intelligent, talented, kind, understanding, friendly, sociable, caring, clean, practical, good humored, simple, non-materialistic, naturally beautiful....I can probably go on and on if I knew her personally. She seems also very calm and fair.. when Ricky says how she's "too relaxed" as a negative trait about her, she let's him finish his sentiments but also kindly explains to him. Korean society is very conditioned to think that being efficient, productive & hard working equates to being busy & working all the time. It's not good for health, physically & mentally. From my studies, this is part of why suicide rate is so high there...so many people are so burnt out that it eventually leads to depression. I'm glad she explained to him that you need to rest to be more productive. She's like the absolute example of this. Girlfriend did not get a full scholarship to study in a totally different country, become fluent & get a good career by being lazy. I would expect her to be the last person to be called lazy. Even more so, she's WAY more efficient because she gets the job done well in a shorter period of time while even having lots of time to rest! Now THAT is efficiency! 😎 i hope he understood. I also hope Ricky, his whole family & friends and pretty much all of Korean society should know how lucky they are to have her. She showcases such great Filipino attributes that beats the stereotypes & discrimination they have in Korea for Filipinos. She has such good pure person vibes! Protect at all costs! 💚

Just my two cents, I think Filipinas rarely do their "retouch" in public because we have this idea that being too vain or giving too much importance in your physical beauty is not a characteristic of a Maria Clara. Traditionally we believe that a woman should prioritize her homemaking skills first and being openly vain about one's beauty is frowned upon due to the idea that you give too much importance on superficial things or this woman is too full of herself. I think its not because there is no divorce in the Philppines that a filipina and a foreigner husband has a low rate of divorce..because if the couple really want to divorce they can easily divorce if they got married outside Philippines like in korea that divorce is legal..i think the reason why filipinas that are married to foreigners has a low rate (of divorce) is because as you have said they have a long patience and they tend to solve their differences , misunderstanding or a problem that occurs between them and as a christian country we believe in the sanctity of marriage that we vowed together that "in sickness and in health till death do us part"..that it means no matter what comes in your marriage you try to solve it..and i think to most countries when they get married they also have that vow to stay together in sickness and in health...but what happening is that its not till death do us part but "TILL DIVORCE DO US PART"...just saying...a blessed marriage to both of you..God bless... That confuses me though. Yes, you can divorce overseas but the filipina will have a hard time getting married again because one of our requirements in getting married is CENOMAR (certificate of no marriage). The divorce overseas will not be recognized back home. The only way is for the filipina to renounce her own citizenship(if possible) and get marry outside the country. Either way you cant get married in the philippines especially if the new partner if filipino too

They were in the Philippines for a culture exchange program and I was one of the students tasked to show them round our city and introduce our local culture and traditions. Hi Ricky. My daughter she's 20 and she's into everything Korean specially Korean Dramas. I don't know how many dramas she's watched already on Netflix!!! She has also started learning how to speak Korean! Needless to say, the family's getting to absorb this love for everything Korean. So lucky that we even have "Hanaro Mart" here in our small town in Queensland. Oh btw, she loves Park Seojoon a lot from" Itaewon Class". We watched that drama from start to finish, so well done! One of the first things that my hubby (who likes getting things done in New York minute), noticed about us Filipinos is that we are quite laid back, drives him crazy too but hey, we chill sometimes haha. I like to justify this "annoying"(at least to others) trait and counter it with "Haste makes waste." hehe. That's why the term "mañana habit" Mañana meaning tomorrow. So I was learning korean language about 6 weeks now and most of my recommended videos are all about Koreans or something that is related to them that’s why I bumped into this video. These past few days I was kinda discouraged about how different the Korean culture is to the Philippines but there’s still lot of Pinoy’s love korea and the people in it maybe the major reasons are because of kpop and kdramas. I watched kdramas not a lot but the main reason why I love to go to Korea is to have new experiences, learn their culture and to travel. I think korea is a beautiful place but one thing I was discouraged about are because of racism and the standard of beauty which I’ve heard and saw in some other videos where foreigners experienced being discriminated. I lost my courage to learn the language cuz there’s part of me that was afraid to go there. But when I saw this video some part of my perception change cuz I really thought that they would discriminate Pinoy there because of our looks and skin color. I am confident and proud of myself its just that I don’t want to experience being discriminated. Btw I’m a new subscriber and may God bless you.

Your husband look like a Filipino actor /action star - Raymund Bagatsing. Filipinos is always mindful of - WORK LIFE BALANCE. When we sleep or take a nap like Erica said we need to rest to be more productive and happy while working. For us having a happy attitude while working is a big thing. With the make up, thats true. If we need to fix something we go the restroom. Filipinos admire natural beauty. If we see someone with no make up but look so pretty it's so admirable. We adore natural beauty. And it's considered unpleasant manner doing your make up in public.

In our school also a catholic one, we weren't even allowed to wear makeup. That was until liptint and powder was made, since then simple and natural makeup was allowed. However we weren't taught about that.

Hello! It is nice to see someone from the Philippines who can speak Korean. I am also a Filipina that migrated to the US as a nurse. When I was in college taking my nursing course back in the Philippines I met several Koreans that enrolled at my school to learn English. But because of the language barrier we really did not interact a whole lot. They pretty much kept to themselves. Right now I am trying to learn how to read, write and speak Korean. It all started when my sister introduced me to kdrama and kpop 5 years ago. And yes I am into BTS the first band that caught my attention in 2015 and then Big Bang, lee min ho coz of the heirs and boys over flower and gong yoo coz the goblin and coffee prince. I love learning about Korean culture. My grandmother was once sent to Korea as a correspondent to cover the Korean War. And growing up she use to tell us stories about her experience and also my grandfather during the Japanese war in the Philippines. Where I’m at here in the US you barely see Asians around. We only have one Korean mixed with Japanese restaurant here in our city. So probably you could help me learn more of the culture and the language as well. Filipinos are also very hardworking. Maybe because we need to work in order to survive and also to help our parents and siblings. . And yes Filipinas are very friendly, ver loving and very caring by nature BUT.. ,we also have a lot of JEALOUSY ( general matters)... I was a working student back in college, it was my choice because I was determined to finish my studies... And now, Looking back, I could not even imagine How I was able to juggle work land going to school at the same. I had to sacrifice a lot like my time hanging out with friends during the week . And also going to picnic with them on weekends... My life then, was evolving between my work and my studies. But I don't have any regrets..

I also have a korean friend and we met in a bar here in the Philippines, while he is on vacation he went to the bar twice and we became close because he didn't dance with his friends instead he will just order 1 bot. of beer and talk with me, by the way I am the cashier of the said bar. Until he returned in korea we still have a communication like chatting and video call on messenger and unfortunately my fb account was hacked and we lost our communication, I added him in my new account but I think he didn't notice my messages 'coz we are not friends yet in fb. 😔 I miss him, he is a good guy.

I remember the time, until now that, when I go to work that is the only time I will look in the mirror and the whole day will pass without looking at myself or during washroom time, I will just glance then leave. My friends used to ask me, are you that confident? No. I just don't have the time to please/fix and myself. Then so be it, my look will not going to change tho. So when I was in functions, my friends would say, wow you looked different. Me: Oh yeah?! This is how Filipina beauty would actually work. lol

Okay! To the Korean husband: Filipinos in general TAKES NAP! You have to remember that Philippines is a tropical country and in the middle of the day, it could get really hot. We use that time, 12-3 pm to rest, to avoid the heat. It’s different nowadays, of course. I don’t think younger generations actually knew that but that’s why we take naps 😁
