Since the second world war major land wars have been pretty rare. One notable exception is the 1962 Sino-Indian War which saw China annex lands from the north of India. But why did this happen? Because India's dismal performance in 1962 made Pakistani military High Command very confident that they can take on India in Kashmir. And Hence they started operation Gibraltar in 65. However, Indians often lack these abilities in both aspects. Additionally, they fail to understand the art of political negotiation and compromise. Fun fact: Nuclear Gandhi is a result of a bug in one of the Civilization games. The Gandhi IA was so peaceful that on an agressiveness scale from 1 to 12 he was 1. But when changing the government to Democracy the agressiveness of the IA is decreased by 2; unfortunately since -1 wasn't a valid parameter for an 8-bit game, which can only accept values between 1 and 256, the result was that, on a scale from 1 to 12, Gandhi became 255 of pure nuclear hatred and would launch nukes until everyone else was obliterated.
