Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13 is what you are referring to correct? Of course, that's just it though... having sex with someone of the same sex is not the same thing as being attracted to someone of the same sex. While it might perhaps be wrong for a person to have sex with someone that is the same sex as them, there is no reason to hate or condemn a person for simply being attracted to people who are the same sex as them. I think it's problematic when we automatically assume all LGBTQ+ people are sexually active/ promiscuous. Like, sure perhaps some LGBTQ+ people are, but not all of them - just like some straight people are very sexually active/promiscuous but not all of them are. And for LGBTQ+ people who are promiscuous … I do not think people blindly hating them, harassing them, and killing them will bring them to God, you know what I mean? The Bible makes it pretty clear that people DO NOT come to know God through acts of hatred and violence. People come to know God when we bear witness to his love and mercy. 1 John 4:16 - "So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us.
