In the great ebb and flow of things, the University of Tennessee is sitting pretty for the foreseeable future. They've got great captains steering the ship, a storied history, and a bright future. And this coach is like no other. Well done Coach Tony Vitello - your complete lack of veneer in this day and age is refreshing. What you see is what you get, and we see greatness in you, your teams, and your university.

Love the players this year. It is impossible to pick a favorite pitcher or hitter. So many guys in all slots 1 -9 came through at critical times, and the pitching was magnificent in tight situations. Tony V and the staff are heroes at how they take care of their teams, and the recruiting has found combinations that let this staff work it out.

Really cool for Vitello to shout out DVH. And coming from an Arkansas fan, Tony will certainly have a better career than DVH. A natty gets him pretty close already. 28 years sooner than DVH! Vitello is a great coach and the best recruiter in the country.

I'd be for a lifetime contract for Vitello, but I'd also have a huge buyout clause in the contract...It's probably not necessary, I think Tony loves it here in Knoxville, all he asks for is support by the fans....not a problem there Vol fans🧡💯

The "big" players need to recognize this win is always the little guy. The contribution from the middle and late order is intangible. You CAN NOT win without their contribution. They have to be as "clutch" as anyone else!!! And that's why we won!!!

Less than 24 hours, folks. That means that this has been in the works for at least several days. How does a coach look his team in the eyes after something like that?
