Our mental health is a lack of family. It's been destroyed and this came up at the same time as men became demonized, family became demonized, and kids, grow up with a lack of discipline, proper structure, good morals, and lack of care for others. Women and girls are told to only think of themselves all their life, boys and men are taught they are bad and useless and don't deserve respect if they aren't alpha level and they are never good enough. Illegal drug use isn't the only thing rampant. To deal with the break down of the fundamentals and the social contract, over 1/3rd of women are on mental health drugs, many men are also. And birth control itself has had a large impact on women's mental health and choices in life. Look up it's affects on women's mate Chocices among other problems. Feminism and the sexual revolution have destroyed us.

It isn't so much that they are brave. They are smart enough to realize that their constituents would throw them out if they vote for gun control. We don't play the gun control game here and they know it. There are many of the 95 counties in Tennessee where you rarely see democrats running for office because they know that there is zero chance they will win. In the last election in my county, there were 2 democrat candidates for school board and none in any of the other races. Those 2 democrats were not even close to getting elected.

Thanks for a really good and professional synopsis of the Tennessee 2023 Special Session. Here in my part of Tennessee our legislators have a pretty direct relationship with their constituents. I'm sure that I am not alone in either writing or calling them to let them know where I stand on these issues. Folks are pretty tough and rooted and therefore our legislators reflect the demeanor of their constituents. Nothing about this "special session" was special or imminent, and that was quickly illustrated by way the bills were addressed and processed. If you take the time to read the 118 bills presented by Governor Lee and his RINO lackeys, the biscuits tossed in for approval at the end of the session were simply to adjourn the session, lock the doors and go home. Well done Tennessee House and Senate!

The Founders obviously didn't think it necessary to add "shall not be infringed" to every Right. But perhaps they believed it was important to include that phrase because they believed that there would be attempts, in the future of this country, to disarm the citizenry.

I do armed security here in Nevada and becasue of state laws around guns and schools it's basically impossible for even private schools to get armed guards. Basically, only police and school resource officers can carry. They are really only in the large high schools in the city, leaving every other school kind of out of luck. I am currently contracted with a private school, and I have to be unarmed while I work at that post because of state law. This school has zero other forms of security other than locked glass front doors and a chain link fence. The funny thing is in Nevada, Armed Security have more mandatory training with our handguns than the police. We need to requalify twice a year, and police only need to once a year the same course of fire. You'd think you'd want the people most proficient with a handgun guarding your children.

I support armed security in school but only private security. Police inst the greatest idea becasue a simple high-school prank or fight and now these kids have a record and need to fight in the courts for years just becasue the SRO was the one that caught them. We don't need to be creating more criminals by taking kids and sticking them into the court and prison system as early as possible. If anything is legitimately serious a armed security officer would detain and police can arrest if needed. Their is really zero difference in the security and safety. I'm fairly well-traveled (4 wars, 4 continents, two decades overseas) and whenever I see folks "protesting" in a southern state and all I hear are accents from the west coast, the Chicagoland area, and northeast, then I consider them bussed-in agitators from out-of-state and their entire message can all be ignored. Saw the same thing happening in Germany in protests in Frankfurt - a whole lot of Berliner agitators and almost no actual Hessians showing up. TN has a Res Flag law of sorts. People can be forcefully committed to an emergency room psychiatric facility by Law Enforcement on the claim that they eluded to being suicidal or considering hurting someone else. The problem is personal accountability and instead undisciplined people want to pull all the sheep’s teeth by virtue that then OnLY coyotes would have teeth. Still I don’t know that giving those inches was smart. It taught democrat terrorists from Memphis and Knoxville and Nashville that if they get violent enough they’ll get their way, even incrementally.

The following is my opinion. The Red Flag law is the bill that most concerns me. First it is unconstitutional. It removes a citizen,s weapons without due process. Bill Lee appeared to be Pro Gun. So much for that and it may cost him reelection. As far as the protesters. The 3 members of the Legislature acted in a very uncivilized manner and were properly removed from the floor on the first day and came back on the second day. They were loud, boustrous and reminded me of 3 thugs with their actions. The citizen protesters, probably for the most part did not even know why they were there. There was a small group of Pro Gun individuals outside the Capital building, with firearms that caused no problems at all to my knowledge. At this time I know who I know who I will not vote for for Governor next election.

I swear they’re against protecting children with guards strictly because they need kids to keep dying so they can pass gun control laws. Like how could you possibly be against protecting schools and protecting our kids? Banning all guns might stop a nonzero amount of school shooters from getting guns, but having prepared people in schools will get anything that falls through the cracks, like a non-legally acquired firearm.
