Tennessee Tornadoes: Drone shows devastation left behind by tornado outbreak

At least 6 were killed and dozens of others were injured after catastrophic tornados ripped through Middle Tennesee on Saturday.

The two tornadoes were pretty small, but they had very high velocity. The Clarksville one did become bigger though, but probably not as big as moore or joplin. If you watched some videos of them, you can see the debris flying so high to the top of the tornadoes. They also moved very fast around the ground not just inside wind speeds.

@UncleDavesKitchen as long as I've been living in Tennessee I've never seen weather like this as a child growing up we had bad storms maby a tornado warning here and there but something has changed in later years with the weather I think it's the signs of the time.but I thank God for having mercy on us cause it could have been more lost of life but God didn't allow more lives to be taken. We as Christians doint think of this place as home we caint get too attached to these material things because it can be here and gone when you least expect it God want us to enjoy life but we have to remember we have an enemy who is the prince of the air who would love to destroy us all but God is our shield He will be their for us regardless of what happens we need to keep our minds on him and I have to remind myself of this aswell.may the Lord bless you and your family and keep you safe from the evils of this world in Christ Jesus name 🙏 Amen.

It’s crazy how this storm took almost the exact path the Tornado that hit Gallatin in April of 2006 took. The 2006 tornado killed 7 people in Gallatin, including 2 people at that red light right there on Airport Road where this footage was taken.

Saying oh my goodness look how bad this is.. but wouldn't lift a finger to help those who lost everything.. It really means the neighborhood is very friendly and communal. For 10 yrs I watched my sub division go from some fences to more. Neighbors talk a lot less now. The neighborhood was more friendly when there were less fences.

Hi! can someone answer some questions, why do these properties not have fences, why is the no garages, are properties tornado rated and built, do they homes have underground shelters, in areas prone to tornadoes why arn't the power lines underground...sad sorry for you loss

1. Properties do not have to have fences. In small towns unfenced properties are more the norm than the exception. 2. In many older homes, there is either a detached garage or no garage because not everyone had cars when they were built. 3. There is no such thing as a tornado rating for a property as it's next to impossible to build stuff that can sustain 150+mph winds. 4. Most homes in the southeast do NOT have underground shelters because the high water table will not allow for them. 5. Power lines aren't put underground because burying such utilities is too expensive.
