Dylan Sampson is at least the 2nd best back in America. For sure the best in the SEC. He was our entire offense last night. We need to get better fast however

As a Tennessee fan, I've pumped the brakes and am simply looking for the offense to improve on its performances week by week. This game will go a long way in helping Nico feel more and more comfortable in high pressure situations. The more live reps, the better. I still have hope for this year, but even if it doesn't all come together this year, the team could still build very strongly going into next season.

We have a very small chance to make some noise this season still. It'll come down to this weekend against Bama. We absolutely have to improve offensively, specifically pass blocking and qb play. Nico has all the tools, just seems to be a bit indecisive. The OL doesnt help him out much, but Nico deserves some blame as well.

They are not a playoff team at the moment. Next week will be huge on deciding if this team can possibly make the playoff. Arkansas was a brutal loss but there are opportunities if the offense can find it's way

No, we aren't a contender in the grand scheme of the playoffs picture. If Nico can't get his crap together, he will sink this ship single handedly. I'm just being honest and those that say otherwise, are just jaded by their love of the team. I absolutely love my Volunteers, but I honestly don't think this is the year, mabey next year, but even then there will be so many positions in question that have to be filled. Nico isn't playing great right now & does have to improve this week, but he's far from being the only reason. (No where close to singlehandedly sinking the ship) The O-Line is just as much to blame, along with the play calling itself. We also need our WR's to step up and be better. There were a few throws that hit WR's in the hands and they just dropped it. That can't happen if we want to win, especially with all the offensive issues.

TN of course has a shot at the playoffs - however I do not believe they're capable of beating Georgia. Albama will be less than 50% odds even at home, however I'd give them 40/60 on the win. The game that has me worried is Kentucky. We know their run defense is some of the best in the country, and for some reason Nico can't pass consistently without throwing a pick.

I hate to say it, but I don't think we have the offense to make it to the playoffs. Nico should be benched, and Gaston Moore should be the starting quarterback. We also need a much better offensive line.

I was at Neyland Stadium last night and as a Tennessee fan I'll will say this our Defense is Elite but the Offense is not there to win out this Season. Nico doesn't have it. That freshman argument is bull crap he had a year to learn and practice. He can't handle pressure but also the Wr's kept dropping passes that should have been caught. Sampson is the only player on offense that actually showed promise. I think we hyped up Nico to much. We have to score in the first half period. If Nico folds again in Alabama game at home then I think we need to start looking for another QB. Our defense is to good to have our Offense screw everything up. Also the O line needs to stop getting so many dumb flags

You could question play calling, pass protection, pocket presence, the stage, the game plan, etc, but the facts are these, scoring 0 points in the first half of the last two games, one a loss and the other a narrow win in overtime against two teams that we should beat handedly says to me we are either predictable or just not that good. I think it is that we are predictable because I sit here at my computer and called this game with at least an 80% success rate. Nico has the tools and I don't know what he needs to do to put the numbers up, but not even getting a field goal in the first half of two games from an offense that's been tops in the country for Josh Heupel led teams is unexceptable. A wins a win and a win over florida is even better, but things don't get easier from here on out and if they don't want to play in the charmin sponsored toilet bowl they really need to do something different on offense. Start sitting some people who ain't getting it done or change something, just do something different. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again hoping for a different result and things are looking a little crazy.

Vols have two issues and one creates the other. So the main issue is okine tackels. I bet they will be changed before bama game. The backup for lt that did good first 4 games will start and Lance Hurd will be back on the bench. Nico with no time has Shaken his confidence. I love Tennessee but not this year that have some issues on the offensive side of the ball. When you start the season with 3 cupcakes the expectation are unrealistic! GO Vols
