Yes, thank you. It was really ridiculous what I (an OSU fan since '73) was reading online and seeing in video content before this game. You are spot on. Josh always blames the loss partly on coaching and partly on players executing poorly. Hell, he's the coach and hopefully sees enough of his miscues to correct them or else sees the deficiency in staff and fires their butts. Maybe he has time to do this before next fall and if not he gets one more year and out. Tennessee teams apparently have never learned to HATE loosing and not aggressive enough to knock out a few teeth on the opposing team members. Football is an aggressive sport and ole Vince Lombardi had it correct when he told his team "don't come back here with no blood on your uniform". Tough matches require tough responses. Grapple the enemy across the line, throw them down or go through them anything to win should be their motto.

TN first four game were played against non-conference marginal teams that TN is expected to win. Over rated and exposed mightily. I notice the Vols waste too much time changing plays when the team is on the scrimmage line. This game reminded me of the Vandy game when Vanderbilt ran up a 17-3 score in first half. When OSU scored two TD's back to back, I knew the Vols were in trouble. What happened to the up tempo game?????? Its time to dismiss some of the coaching staff. Nico doesn't call the plays, he executes them. Why continually have the RB run into a wall when there's no opening. I can see this on TV and wonder how the OC/DC sitting upstairs can't see it.

@@benson1933 Yes he did. I saw them holding and tackling our defenders in the line of scrimmage scrum a few times as Nico ran for yardage. Refs miss calls, and call things that they probably shouldn't. Part of football. But this game--if anything--had the big questionable calls fall in favor of TN. Either way, it made 0 difference in the outcome, which was a blowout.

Your Crazy! 2 10 win season in 4 yrs? That’s worth firing? Josh is ahead of schedule when it comes to where we’re at. Sorry but we hadn’t had a single 10 win season since Fulmar was fired! I mean come on bro! We need more talent and it showed against a top 5 recruited team. Tim Banks isn’t that good either had a soft schedule made him look better but gave up more than 30 points to teams with better recruiting!

We should fire all theses bandwagon big mouth fans who like to celebrate prematurely like the bama fans. Tim banks is a dude. If anything Wille martinez has let us down not tim banks we need to get a real OC tho joey hazle ain't it. Hire Jon gruden as our OC get a dude with big football knowledge gruden with a QB like nico would be a match made in heaven

Finally someone calling Nico out for staring down receivers and being to slow to throw. He is definitely not the QB that TN needs him to be. He is another Joe Milton at this point and Heupel can't develop QB's, if anything he makes them worse.

Can't compare over throw Joe with Nico. Got to remember Nico was playing high school football a year ago.

Should Huepel fire Tim Banks? No. Danny White should fire Josh Huepel. 4 years in and we can’t win a game on the road that matters and can’t win some that don’t. I absolutely adore coach Huepel as a man but I believe he has peaked. I know I’ll catch hell for saying it but so be it. I’m calling it like I see it.

What’s the alternative butch Dooley Pruitt again ? Like he has the only two ten win seasons in decades so like he just needs more time to develop the program. He made the playoffs in year 4. We have a road problem and a big game problem, but I think having dawgs on both sides of the ball is needed

As an Ohio State fan who has to listen to our fanbase cry about Ryan Day every season, please hear me when I say, stick behind your coach. Our fanbase is toxic and honestly doesn't deserve Ryan Day. Don't become like our fanbase. The Nick Saban effect makes everyone think that a winning program happens overnight. No. It takes time. You guys have a great coach who is making strides in the right direction every season. He will get you guys to the promised land. Mark my words.

@@GrannySingaporePVP i hope he does but I’m starting to have my doubts because just two years ago we got embarrassed in Columbia South Carolina giving up 63 points with a very good offense this year we had a probably overrated defense we let Carson beck have the game of his life now we let will howard have the game of his life

This thought process is astonishingly stupid. The guy is 30-9 in his last 3 seasons. You may be trolling and if you are good job, but if not, you are a complete idiot. One of the best coaches we’ve had in a long time come on bruh. Use our head.

After 4 years, not even close to an SEC title game. Always second rate. Always finish 4th or 5th in the conference. Do they allow tackling on that team?

Just a very lucky schedule that made them look good. Who did they really play? Bama? Well bama wasn’t that good either. Georgia beat em, hell my hogs beat em. 3 straight games no points in the first half? Struggling heavily. It was a matter of time.

I have no doubt Nico will be great the problem is with the o line….a couple of good offensive linemen and a few that have turned out to be not good at all. A couple of them can’t hardly walk from injury. Makes it hard for a qb if you only have a 1.5 seconds before you’re flushed or sacked. It just showed up more with States level of talent on defensive line. That being said I get tired of yelling at the tv throw it to your check down throw it dang it!!!! Second and whatever and you got a guy wide open about 7 yards down field and he sees them but doesn’t throw it. That’s my only critique of him. Tired of hearing red shirt freshman. I’ve watched 2 nd and 3rd string QBs come into games all year and move the chains all over the country. Ohio State got the same Tennessee that Arkansas got earlier this season off a bye week. If Tennessee would have played up to their potential it would have been more like 42-31. Tennessee played like poop and everybody knows it. That’s happened several times this year. Now is that coaching or just players unable to get ready I don’t know. It’s definitely a problem. But nothing against OHIO STATE I think the way the Vol team played Saturday night they would have got beat by most top 10 teams playing the way they did. Too many blown fundamental assignments. Ohio State is a decent team but they ain’t that good they got their azz handed to them by Michigan. Tennessee defense has shown up most of the year….they didn’t show up against State and the offense played about as average as they’ve played since CONFERENCE play started. Just look at the numbers in points Tennessee put up from OU on. Not good. 👍
