For me, one of the reason that Big 3 were so dominating throughout their era because they are all very fundamentally sounded by rounding their skillsets. Many of the other competitors during the era were just trying to overpower with their cannon arms but rarely tried to chase down for every points.

@@Blue-ik8ij Nadal revealed that disease in 2021. So the 3 years since, which he's played the least amount of tennis in his career, is the metric you use to say that I have never watched tennis before? It's doubtful there were even 10 matches that disease was brought up in... Nadal's injuries were caused because of his play style, he knows this and works around it and plays through it with meds. His disease does play a role, yes, but his injuries are still mainly tennis based

What could have been of Djokovic without ATP/ITF, Media and crowds against him all of his career, without the covid idiocy (discounting weeks at N ° 1 from him while freezing the rankings with him at the top spot in 2020, banning him of multiple majors and masters between 2020 and 2022) or without his gluten intolerance and asthma, both conditions which caused injuries, lack of breath, unhealthy fitness and, hence, retirements from some matches in his younger years... what kind of freaking BEAST would we all be talking about if he treated those conditions earlier in his career, or better, if he never had those hurdles...
@jwt-nu3ei

You could do the 'ifs' for all 3. Federer - "what if he was 5 years younger", Nadal - "what if his body had held up for another 5 years", Djokovic - "what if covid hadn't happened". You could even ask "what IF a player the calibre of a 24 y/o Djokovic / Federer / Nadal joined the tour in 2018" or "what if Murray didn't fuck up his off season when he finally became world number 1" (does Federer still have his resurgence in 2018?). etc. All hypotheticals. I would say, on your point, there'd be a question of motivation.

Let's also not forget that the Big 3 have done a lot of philanthropic work. They have contributed to the sport both on and off court. Hence, why they are loved so much. They are also very down to earth and just plain likeable.
