Tennis Mental Toughness. Ah Ha Moments Might Be False Advertising.

Excellent !! Important point of view. I have had these moments and consider them a 'Gift from the Tennis Gods'. We get taken to the top of the mountain and shown our absolute best, what we are top end actually capable of. Then we get returned to our everyday reality and the tennis gods pat us on the back and tell us, now that we know what is on top, to get to work and climb the mountain for ourselves. Sadly many fritter the gifts away by expecting the results to be free. I try to latch on to the memory and work my butt off to own what I experienced before the memory fades. The tennis gods are generous but they don't spoil us :)
