The best thing is that Rybakina is ending her best clay season and going into the grass season healthy. She only won 4 matches during the grass season last year and 1 of them was a retirement while she lost 2 matches, that should be easy for her to beat this year.

48 U-errors.. 😭 It was a bad day for her. On the other half Aryna also had some health issue or something. She was showing signs of some hip/abdomen pain. Anyway Iga is in no mood to give atleast one game to the opponent. Probably Paolini will lose very badly 🥴

“I should have been moving better” “I will try to fix some things from this match” “I will analyze it” Yes!!!!!! This is exactly what I wanted to hear out of her. Stay healthy, improve and take it a step at a time. No need to go for broke with no form all of the time, just keep hammering away until you can reliably get deep in tournaments and then go for a little bit more against the big guns. Next year she needs to play all of the masters tournaments and do better at slams but not expect to win until she feels comfortable winning many different match ups. She started very strong in Brisbane despite being sick in the off season but she didn’t get a chance to build on that after Adelaide and the AO.

Sad to see ER exit in this tournament .She is still my only favorite player on tour. She is weak physically and time to see a specialist to find out more and a good physio and physical trainer and a whole team of experts if she wants to be No 1 like some of her ardent fans have pointed out. And also a good coach who can make some changes to her hard ground strokes. May she be healthy going into the grass season and best wishes for her❤.

I'm one of her biggest fans, but it seems clear to me now that she doesn't have the physical condition to compete for the n°1 spot. I'm not even sure that she can win more Slams with such a weak physical condition. I think she should "Djokovic" the issue: hire a bunch of physicians or health experts, run a battery of tests, see what's wrong with her body to compete at this level, and fix it through preparation and meal adjustments. When Djoko did this, he became invicible. To me she's the best of the Top 4, but she won't go any further with such a frail body 😞

There was a question to Zverev about how is his recovery after matches…he told clearly recovery process is done during offseason or tournament breaks…tats how players deal it professionally…Elena always complain about recovery after matches and schedule but its not only she all players face same issues…she need to onboard a phycologist and add an assistant coach to his team otherwise she will end up as a one slam wonder…

What I heard from Elena is that her body did not hold up during this quarter final match. As soon as she said, her legs were not there for her, that tells me that she had reached the end of the road. Usually she moves to every ball well. Today, even the tennis analysts were wondering if she feeling okay, becuz she gave up on some shots. It sounds as if she hasn’t been sleeping well, and every tennis player needs a good rest, prior to playing a match. She had been winning matches at RG easily. Sounds as if she wasn’t fit enough for this match today. Anyway, Paolini deserved the win. She was so courageous in tough moments. Tough luck for Elena.

@@mervelynebiyonbakare6028 I follow Rybakina as a fan. Paolini played a great match. I don't want to take that away from her. It's only an explanation that i have noticed over the past couple of years about Rybakina's play. She isn't making any excuses. However for a player of her caliber, not to be solid in this situation tells me, that she wasn't fully healthy. She has to manage her schedule a lot better, because she tends to have lots of health issues. I'm happy for Jasmine.

Her demeanour in a previous interview session was pretty dismissive and unprofessional, which isn't typical for her. Players from the East should understand one thing - in your culture the winner is a superhero and takes all the credit and the losers should be ashamed of themselves... It's tradition but it is somewhat a pure nonsense too - you are all great sportsmen and we, the tennis fans support you no matter win or lose because we simply like you, you just need to try to give your best in a given mach and say a few words about it and that is all we expect. When you lose we are still very interested in your technical, phisical, emotional, tactical etc. opinion about the match, about the opponent, the court, the crowd, the weather... I hope Ryba learned a lesson from her previous disrespectful press conference - journalists ask questions - it is their job, if the question sounds similar the answer doesn't have to, besides there is limited number of questions that you can ask about a match but it is still interesting to hear from both platers how they saw the game I personally love very technical details like how balls behave on a given surface or about the characteristics of the court, how play changes in dry / wet conditions - it helps me appreciate the sport more and more. So give us insights - you are the guys to learn from. Cheers! [Edit] If you have to choose - ranking or health - don't ever hesitate. To play with injuries is a men's craziness - you women should be more reasonable and take care of yourself first.

As a fan of Elena, I am very disappointed with her performance against Paolini, I’m going to be hard on her, without real motivation and not pulling herself together by doing the first catastrophic set is shameful as world number 4, she says she is supposedly capable of winning any grand slam when she is in good shape, she was in good shape at the AO and at RG yet she loses against players in her range and they are not even top 10 players on paper, I know that I am demanding with her because I love her, but Honestly, she doesn’t have the level of the women’s big 3 at all, she’s an average player currently; Desolate, it’s very strange to see her smile after a defeat.

This is an ignorant comment and sounds like someone who is an Iga fan or doesn't like Rybakina. Rybakina has a better record this year than #2 Sabalenka (who has 8 losses) and #3 player Coco Gauff (who has 8 losses, too). Rybakina has also won more tournaments this year than anyone except Swiatek.
