This is the first hour long video I actually sat through! Playing since 69,' coaching since 90,' I'm sending many thanks for keeping me updated via your brilliant communication of all things tennis...

This is a rare occasion when a KZbin VDO is so good that you have to download it because you afraid it might be gone someday.

Indeed, lots of great stuff! But don't discount the benefit of a GOOD one-on-one coach in your progress... 🙂

The analysis of this advance forehand groundstroke is very informative and instructional. It will lend to my development both for my stroke and for my students

I will say, this is a great video. I am making many adjustments based on this and will report back. I find it easier to make these adjustments with a ball machine rally ball. When on the move my technique begins to unravel. So far so good tho.

great video. just one thing I'm not clear about how to generate strong top spin with depth vs flatten out? you said no wrist windshield sweep motion before hit, so the shoulder-arm swing path will be slight different then?

When i see Sinner and Nadal following through over their heads it makes it hard to believe that they aren’t using a low to high swing path for topspin. Am I missing something?

Yes but through and across would not create spin so there most be low to high component in the movement

What is happing when a player is using a eastern grip but ball isn’t spinning after contact. With a more linear swinging path as you put it.

Tapping the dog! Not patting. Before blending you have to learn it separately, in progressions.
