Nadal won 2 clay events and 1 grass one that year. In what it's generally considered his worst season, he still won 3 titles. In terms of dominating, if Djokovic was not there in 2015 the one who would have dominated that season would have been Federer. He was the only one who beat the serb 3 times in what is considered Djokovic's best season. Federer rrached nemerous other big finals in 2015 (IW, WB, USO, Tour Finals) and Djokovic was the only one who stopped him.

Nafal got so lucky he only faced djokovic in hard court grand slams once after 2013. After us open final 2013 they faced each other 9 times in hard courts and nadal did not win a single set,but only one of these 9 matches was in a grand slam. In grand slams they played each other 10 times in nadal's best grand slam(roland garros), only 3 times in wimbledon ,with djokovic winning two(the one nadal won was in 2007,he was already a top player and djokovic was still far from his best), and only two times in djokovic's best grand slam, with djokovic winning both. And in the us open is 2-1 nadal, but they never played each other again there after that 2013 final, when djokovic started completely dominating everything. Their head to head in grand slams is only favorable to nadal because they faced one another way more in roland garros than in wimbledon,or australian open or us open.

Also in that Wimbledon 2007 Nadal blatantly robbed a point, and Novak retired mid match when they were 1 set apiece cause of a back injury, in his gluten intolerance days when it was unnoticed for him (caused him breathing issues, much weaker body, unfitness, being more prone to injuries of all types, etc).

In general when the court is faster Nadal can’t match up with Djokovic in baseline rallies because he can’t take advantage of his forehand’s loopy balls like on clay which can help him in defense neutralizing the opponent’s attack. I noticed on faster courts his forehand is flatter because if he hits loopy balls the opponent can aggressively take them on the rise to hit fast balls that’d put him in trouble. In this match Djokovic hit a lot more winners from the baseline than he usually does against Nadal on clay courts.

Since US Open 2013, Rafa doesn't have a victory against Novak Djokovic on the hard court surface. Neither Rafa gained one set nor shattering the serve of Novak Djokovic as of the end of 2013. Especially, Djokovic had a huge supremacy on the pitches and tournaments since 2015 with that vast upswing.
