@@Baldeagleman258It was a sensational shot, especially considering the moment too. but the reason it isn't top 10 for example, imo, is de minaur should have probably done more with the shot to go behind grigor. and despite an amazing get and one of a kind shot and skill from grigor, it surely was far from his cleanest hit, just catching edge of the line as well. Still remarkable! Grigor a top 5 shotmaker and talent on tour last 15 years for me, and there were just too many good shots last year.

Alcaraz, featured in 26 points, won 16 of them 3. Medvedev, featured in 8 points, won 3 of them 4. Sinner, featured in 12 points, won 9 of them 5. Rublev, featured in only 1 point, lost that point 6, Tsitsipas, featured in 4 points, lost all 4 7. Zverev, featured in 4 points, won 1 of them 8. Rune, featured in 8 points, won 5 of them 9. Hurkacz, featured in 8 points, won 5 of them 10. Fritz, featured in 3 points, won 1 of them And Dimitrov isn't in the top 10, but he was featured in 8 points and won 5.

@@florisbokx Surely a 360... He turned completely around pretty much on contact with the ball- and surely the athletic move he made in order to hit the shot required the full 360 turn he did, even if directly after contact. 360 should be the right term.

Pointless statistics coming you way! Completely differently from last year, we got a lot of déjà vus on this list: Alcaraz wins this year once again with staggering 16 hot shots. At runner-up, we have his most fearless rival, the Carota King Sinner with 9. In 3rd place, a tie between Dimitrov and Rune with 5 hot shots each. In 4th, with 3 shots, another tie: Shelton, McDonald, Hurkacz, Medvedev and Djokovic. A 5th place, you guessed it, another tie: Monfils, Popyrin, Mannarino, Korda, Tiafoe, Evans, Sonego, FAA, everyone with 2 shots. As for the losing side, Tsitsipas is still the most punchable bag on the tour, without one miserable hot shot (0/5). However things got a little bit different this year. If we consider only entries and not W/L rate, then Alcaraz is the biggest punching bag this year, scoring 10 entries. Djokovic is the runner-up with 7. Then in 3rd, the cutest couple on tour with 5, Medvedev and Tsitsipas. In 4th, a tie between Sinner, Hurkacz and Paul with 4 entries. Last thus least, showing up 3 times on the list: Dimitrov, Rune, FAA, Bublik, Zverev and Struff. Now, for the most positive records (sloppy math incoming): 1st - Shelton and McDonald with 100% (3/3). 2nd - Sinner with 69% (9/13). 3rd - Tiafoe and Evans with 66,5% (2/3). 4th - Dimitrov and Rune with 62,5% (5/8). 5th - Alcaraz with 61,5% (16/26). Honorable mentions: Monfils, Popyrin, Mannarino and Korda (2/2), and Sonego (2/4). And now, the punching bags (%): 1st - Tsitsipas with 0% (0/5). 2nd - Struff with 0% (0/3). 3rd - Paul with 20% (1/5). 4th - Bublik and Zverev with 25% (1/4). 5th - Djokovic with 30% (3/10). Honorable mentions: Giron with 0% (0/2); De Minaur, Ruud, Fritz with 33% (1/3); Medvedev with 37,5% (3/8). Alcaraz and Sinner clearly becamew the showrunners of the sport, obfuscating Djokovic another record-shattering year, as if ATP is a talent agency and not a legitimate organization defending all players. I'm just saying. I love Sinner and Alcaraz is an outstanding athlete, and I don't like Djokovic, but I'm not a hater in any way. I hate BS though. But this is just an interpretation I made of this year's top 100 hot shots. Could be a BS interpretation. Maybe I am BS. I don't know. Who knows. Not you. Yes you. You don't know anything. Just hydrate yourself and watch a movie.
@Jingoa10 ай бұрын
This is a fan-voted list. The people love Alcaraz and Sinner. That's all you really need to know to understand the bias here. It also turns out that bias is fine-it's a wonderful thing that people are getting hyped up about young players. The sport needs them to survive. (If I were sad about anything, it'd be that the people don't love doubles as much as I do, which is a shame because it has the most bonkers points of them all by far)
