1980's and 1990's was the best genre of reggae music! The Djs/Singers/Entertainers were so talented and real! The vibe, culture and energy was righteous! God bless the souls of the reggae pioneers! Tenor Saw's lyrics, voice, rhythm, flow and aura was legendary! Yammi Bolo was extraordinary! I remember when the legendary Danny Dread and Babyface used to DJ and selector for "Addies"! Can you imagine being at this or one of these live dance hall events! God/Jah know how much I miss the 1980's and 1990's!

Damn don't even get me started 80's & early 90's reggae (rub a dub & raggamuffin) is what i listen to every day of every week since i was 12 years old. But i was born in 92 so i never had the privilege to witness a real dancehall like this. I've been to countless sound systems here in Holland & Germany but none of them have the same intensity and power like these early crucial shows... To me only Damian Marley and Busy Signal come close to recreating that real ragga ragga vibe!

@@RaggaBaby 1992! Was the first time as a teenager I went to my first live "Addies/Stone Love" sound system dance and Buju Banton performed live with Wayne Wonder! Barrington Levy performed, Freddie McGregor, performed, Frankie Paul, performed! The dance was pure niceness, rub a dub, studio one dubplates, live in Brooklyn August 1992.

Classic session. From the first riddim, Jammys' *"Chase Vampire"* riddim (still a killer riddim after all these years). Every DJ here on point, Joe Lickshot hyping up the dance with his unique *"CHOOM CHOOM CHOOM CHOOM!"* Cutty Ranks murder as per usual. The late great Tenor Saw, still hugely missed.
