As an Iaido practitioner I found this video extremely useful. The narration was at a very nice pace enabling one to reflect on one's own application of teno uchi, a concept which I find easy to understand but extremely hard to apply. Nonetheless, there are a lot of information offered which I will need to reflect on and apply in my own training. So thank you very much.

Thank you for your comment, Danny Meetoo!😀 tenouchi should be different depending on your purpose (cutting nothing, cutting things and hitting a target) but I am sure the concept is the same. If not, very similar. I do iaido a little bit too so I know what you are talking about 😉 PS...Please subscribe to my channel if you think other videos might be helpful for you! Thanks for your support! 🙏

Because of this chamnel i've been able to start training and developing a routine to learn about kendo and other martial arts. I'd like to thank you for this amazing work and i wish that your channel grow as much as possible. By the way, i'm from Brazil and there isn't any kendo school near my city.

Olá! Em qual cidade você mora? Alguns dojos não são muito divulgados.

I got a Bokuto with a tsuba and a wooden scabbard a few weeks back, thought I'd take a look at kendo and here I am. I'll be sure to use these. Thanks.

BTW, I am a trained engineer, and it seems what you are calling "power" is proper force in a scientific sense. The word power is twice derived from force. Force through Distance (F x d) yields work (Energy), Power is Energy per Time so is defined as Force x Distance / Time.

Thanks! Wow! Headache! Hope I am not confusing the viewers of the video by using terms wrong. Again thanks for telling me that. And I am sure others appreciate your comment too!
