Do you know at the CFM on the fan blower is? And about how many pounds per hour it moves? Or alternately, what the horse power is and the rpm on the blower are and maybe how many inches the fan blades are? I want to build one of these for my malt.

I think this fan has been used in industrial halls to extract sawdust or smoke. I installed a 4 kw, 2800 rpm engine. I put a bigger pulley on the fan because the air jet was too strong and tossed my beans through the bunker. Move around 5000 kg in about 2 hours.

A ratio must be found between the weight of the grains, the volume of air, the number of bends and the length of the pipes.

It is a fan used in industrial halls. For this system to work, you have to find a ratio between the air coming out of the fan, the distance that the grains have to move, the height to which it should climb (I use use maximum 2 elbows). I did a lot of tests, and I reduced the rotating speed with the pulleys. At first the air was too strong and the grains did not fall out of the bunker. I've solved the problem by making some slots for blocking the air.
