I had to pause the video to comment back to this. This is me trying to learn to play guitar, just when I think I've nailed something and I'm getting there, something harder gets thrown in and I'm back to that scream! I can play songs with the same chords I know with a made up strumming pattern but anything with a B, C, or F is out of the question for now. I still struggle with strumming patterns because I go straight to trying to sing and it throws me off

@@melodyvalentine8779 im just starting with guitar im struggling so much with bar chords oml
@melodyvalentine8779
@melodyvalentine8779 3 жыл бұрын
@@blew1t tell me about it, we've put them on the back burner for a while til I'm comfortable playing full songs with easier chords and then I'll feel more confident in tackling barre chords, but tbh even when I do have to learn them if I can avoid playing them in a song by playing an easier version of the chord then I will. I'm not so bothered about being the greatest technical guitarist ever, I just wanna be able to play and sing songs that I love. So to a professional I'll probably always look like I'm not that great but to everyone else I'll be able to play the guitar perfectly fine. I'm not stressing myself out over things that can be avoided. Good luck with your guitar playing, it's hard af to start with but I've been assured it gets easier pretty quickly if you put the effort in. I just can't see a point where my fingers will naturally ever be able to just make certain shapes for chords without a huge gap. My teacher is confident that will happen though so I just have to trust the process I suppose

@@faeylin3010 In a sense I understand what you are trying to say here. I even partially agree. I still see it as a waste. He could be singing things that would push him personally, to help him improve further as a singer. Not an easy task to accomplish. As a musician myself, I understand. While 21pilots are popular. They are not really that talented when comparing to so many others. He may make the songs more interesting, even good. However, I would still stand behind my comment. Consider for a moment if you would. What would push him further: Covering a 21 pilots song? Or revisiting Jeff Buckley? The answer is pretty clear.
