Dear Tensorbundle many thanks for your work and time. I think many people relly appreciate it!!! There is one important definition missing. The background material should be defined as normal. The default is PEC which leads to an error in the precalculation of the simulation.

Dear viewer thank you for watching. The background material definition in CST under MW, RF, & Optical>Antenna Planar template is already by default normal

Sir,how is the frequency range 38-43Ghz related to parameters you took for antenna design. For ex if I have to design for 900Mhz to 3Ghz,what modifications in the design are required?

i followed the each step from your video exactly but getting the different result than yours. did u do any changes after 4:50 ?? if yes then what ?

No. You should double check your setup.

yeah actually by mistake i put the value of QWM 0.5 instead 0.9. Getting the correct output now. thnks for replying btw :)

sir i need one more help . actually i have to submit my final year project this weekend in which i have to design three bands 1-2, 2-4 and 4-8 Ghz. any idea how to get these bandwidths ?

Extract S1P file from CST simulation and use S-param block in ADS and link that S1P file with that block..I have a post on similar topic in CollabEEE, although it was meant for HFSS but the principle is same for CST too

Thanks a lot for this tutorial. Pls which parameter will I change to get my -10dB return loss when the frequency is from 1-4GHz not 30 t0 60GHz as in this design. Once again Bravo Zulu to you.

First thanks for all videos, great work. If we use radial stub instead of straight microstrip line , How could we calculate port extension coefficient or how could we simulate Vivaldi antenna using radial stub ? Would it be the same like in this video ? If radial stub is at the top layer or at the bottom layer of antenna , does it change the calculation port extension coefficent ?

Shashi Kumar Just start with a basic frequency scaling operation and start with a roughly estimated dimensions. Simulate and see the results and change the dimensions to meet your design frequency. Search some vivaldi antenna research paper from IEEE xplore and start studying and grasping the underlying theory. The rest would be piece of cake after that.
