Tent Camping High Up in the Columbia Gorge - Snow Peak Alpha Breeze

The ridge we camped on was breathtaking and watching the traffic and trains throughout the day was just incredible. In this video, we tried out some new camping gear and sought out to create a minimalistic camp set up. Your general cinematography is, as it has been for most of your videos, on point. But your editing - especially in the beginning - is at a new level. Well done! The only critique is that in the beginning portion, you loaded all your gear and took off on what appeared to be a solo camping trip. To us, the audience, it looked like you forgot your family back home, or your wife kicked you out 😉. Just know that all of your videos are great and I don’t want you to see this comment as disparaging in any way. You and your wife continue to improve with each video and I only want to give feedback to show appreciation. (Meaning, if you and you wife sucked at making videos, I would not say a thing. Because there would be no point…😊)

Thank you! The water jugs plus faucet are really nice. It’s made washing dishes and just having an accessible sink so convenient! The jugs hold plenty of water and don’t leave a horrible plastic after taste when drinking either!

Very good👍. If I may make one suggestion for filming at nigh?: Try using ambient light a little away from where you are filming. It will light up the area mutch better and you'll get better results. Can you say something about the Dometic fridge you have? I recall you using a Yeti cooler box only before. Great video. Thank you. 👍

Thanks for the tip, I'll play around with the lightning at night! The Dometic fridge has been amazing. I've taken it with us on the last few trips and the battery lasts several days. We were using a Yeti before and it's a great cooler, but not having to deal with ice is really nice. I went with the smallest size dometic cooler and I feel like there is plenty of room without all the ice that used take up space in the cooler. Also, The battery will keep it charged quite a bit longer than the larger models. It's definitely not necessary, but since we're trying to go more frequently it just helps simplify the packing even further. I'll take it out a few more times and will have full review up here soon!

It’s the INNO BRM2020ST Roof Box. It’s constructed much better than Yakima and Thule in my opinion and is way more convenient with its ‘memory mount’ system.
