Hilleberg is surely worth it. Personally I like the Nammatj GT and its extended vestibule. Your trips include rain and high winds so many times that I think you could appreciate the spacious vestibule for cooking and drying your gear with all the doors shut. Also the ventilation is top notch.

I've only just discovered your channel and I'm loving it. Please can I give you a tip on the cooking side of things. Please take the steak out the packaging pre walk and slice it. Add a squeeze of lime juice, a generous helping of Cajun seasoning and some salt and pepper. When your cooking your evening meal, add the steak to the pan first and cook for 2 and a half mins before adding your stir fry veg. Try it and let me know what you think...

Jeesh, I know exactly how you felt with the drone! I was doing a "rocket" shot the other day and the wind caught it at about 70m. Off it goes, couldn't fight the wind. I hit the return to home but no. Took a few minutes and the wind dropped, back she came! So relieved but my heart was beating like hell! Great video again, thanks Liam!

Y Garn, just some info on the first word Y is the Welsh word for THE, pronounced simply by removing the TH. If you ever want to camp here in summer those car parks are always full so you'd need to arrive around sunrise time for any chance. Also have a look at Ffynon Lloer on the map, great wee camp spot.

I think the notion of the Black label being too much for the UK is nonsense. The UK is one of the most windy areas in Europe, we may not have alpine snow and 5000m peaks but wind to match anywhere

Thanks Dave, yeah any later I wouldn’t have attempted but I had close to 2 hours so luckily made it back up in time but maybe next time the safer option would be not to risk it and get it the following day. Thanks for watching bud

Awesome as ever Liam thank you so much. Just a thought for you though... Would it be possible on these really windy camps you do to do an ASMR of the sound of that fabulous wind along with your incredible scenic camera work. I know there are thousand of ASMR wind videos on here but they all loop after about 30 seconds and are all synthesised. The natural sounds that you catch would be so head healing. Once again thank you for dragging us along on your adventures👍

Great pitch location with stunning views and what a beautiful breakfast sunrise. Dinner wasn't too bad either. And also definitely video proof why I rather use a gas stove. Not the first YT outdoor video where I've seen a spirit burner 'go a bit wild', when it's seriously gusty outside. (Not that a gas stove is perfectly safe. I once managed to scare myself pretty hard, by carelessly opening the gas valve way too much before igniting. No damage to the tent or anything luckily, only a slightly scorched ego and a lesson learned).

Another fantastic video Liam so Thanks very much yet again for the entertainment . Ignore those people who say a Hilleberg Soulo Black label s a bit of an over kill for UK conditions are talking through their ring piece mate...i unsubbed from PM videos after he said he was replacing his with that Rab Event mountain tent because thats a tent that you most definitely dont want in the UK but would work really well in the Alps in winter and other higher colder ranges. Doing summit camps like you do in the conditions that you do Hilleberg Black label tents are exactly want you want and worth every single penny end of :) Really pleased for you that you managed to retrieve your drone after all that effort !

Loved this. I know eff all about wild camping in Snowdonia but was a pro chef for a while, for your scran (I'm ex Royal Navy, that's what we called it as well) mushrooms in first on a hard fry to intensify the flavour, steak next for a very short hard fry and then the veggies and sauce on a gentler heat. The steak should come out medium/rare and the veggies will be nice and crunchy! Must admit that these days I'm veggy and slow cooked veggie chillies on a Trangia burner are more my kind of thing. Excellent videos, you're a bloody legend!

Top video 👍🏻 I was having a chuckle at your pronunciation of Y garn 😜 how are you liking your OMM core hoodie? I've got the core plus which is supposedly thicker, but I'm not sure if I'd like it any thinner tbh, it feels very fragile, but it is very warm for the very light weight, my medium only weighs 188 grams compared to 400 grams of my Rab equivalent hooded fleece. I hope you get your drone fixed, absolute bummer that mate.

@@GoodBlokeOutdoors yeah, the core hoodie is very delicate feeling, I ordered mine online, and the first one they sent was obviously a return, apart from the dog hairs all over it (which I first thought were the primaloft fibers🤣) there was a rip under one of the arm pits lol.
