I’ve endured the same on numerous occasions, a band of hail sweeps across and you feel like your being hammered into the ground. I do enjoy a stormy wild camp, you have to use natural wind breaks buddy! Great fun!

Good video mate, fair play for sticking it out, Dartmoor can be pretty nasty!! Just a thought, if I am intending to cook a proper meal when I am out there, I always tend to put the correct amount of ingredients needed in a little seasoning jar at home, less to carry and less space. Look forward to more vids!

This is our favourite spot . So glad KZbin recommended your channel. 2 Years ago I took my other half wild camping here for her first ever "wild" night ;) Total white out, torrential rain but my Garmin Fenix 5X saved us. Gave me a guide to a small Tor which we camped behind, cooking steak and mushrooms. She loved it and its now a regular thing for us.

My first wild camp in that area was in March. The weather was dreadful and when it stopped blowing a gale, it snowed. I don’t think I saw anyone from Friday evening when I arrived until Sunday afternoon. It’s lovely there but pretty bleak! Well done

Brilliant video again, Billie. Really enjoyed it. I’ve walked and climbed my way all over the place including the Himalayas and still haven’t managed Dartmoor. It was fantastic to see a bit of it. You can really see why British mountains and moorlands are some of the most dangerous outdoor spaces in the world. Superb

That camping trip was a labor of love for camping for sure.....definitely worth watching 100%!!! I like watching camping where it takes some effort.....not like many who just do it to easy. You do the uncomfortable and hard stuff.....I like that and respect you for it! I want to watch vids that take some sacrifices and hardship and are worth my time....you definitely deliver! On a cold one like that a couple of tea lights in the tent really add some heat. Keep the van warm to if you look into heating with a terracotta flower pot and tea lights.
