I swear Gaurdeners my favorite mid-boss in this game. Her concept is clever and fits well, she has what’s arguably the best running joke with the little minion bots, and she also just seems incredibly kind. After all she’s the only mid-boss who wouldn’t have attacked Clover if it weren’t for a malfunction in her programming. Even El Bailador, for as awesome and kind as he is, admits to sometimes hurting people during his dancing. Her theme is a bop too. So is this remix btw! She’s also the only mid-boss I felt sad for in the end. She doesn’t necessarily get a happy ending even in True Pacifist. She’s also likely one of, if not the only one of the robots to realize how the entire Steamworks had been decommissioned. And her response to it all is pretty much just “My time in this world is now gone, I don’t want to wake up anymore. It’s better that way.” Like goddamn. Why the hell did I write this much for a character who only got one fight and interaction? ._.
