The point at Sova is that you need a team which plays around you. So imo sova is not that good until like plat or higher. Also in pro play Sova is essential and very good but i dont think he is too broken that you have to nerf him

A lot of people are throwing around the demand to nerf Jett before Sova is touched. I understand why that is of course. The thing with this is, how do you nerf Jett's dash and her ult without making her a bad agent? If her dash can't help you escape out of fights, then what would you use it for? How would you even nerf it? Make it slower? Make it unusable for a couple seconds after a kill? And what about her ult? The right click is already incredibly inconsistent as it is, making the spread even worse doesn't sound like a good idea. And if you removed the ability to gain her knives back, if you get a kill with the right click, wouldn't it render this function of the ult obsolete? Maybe I'm alone with this opinion, but I'd rather have Jett be a little too strong than mostly useless, especially since she's the poster-girl of Valorant. And no, I'm not a Jett-Main, before some of you start acusing me of that. I'm a controller main, so I hop between Brim, Omen and Viper depending on the map (I'm just mentioning this for transperency). Would love to know any thoughts on how to exactly nerf her, since I don't see a way to do it, without reworking some parts of her kit. Edit: Grammar

the only people that are asking for a jett nerf are low elo players getting dominated by jett smurfs. jett is alright and shouldnt be changed because, like you said, right click is inconsistent at even medium range, etc

Rework Jett dash into an entry ability. Decrease the time it takes to equip your weapon after a dash so that you can dash in to kill. Also add a cool down to use it after shooting of like half a second. That way you can’t op shot and dash out without the enemy team having the potential to trade.

Agree, sova is just essential and I wouldn't say OP. I'd say Jett's dash is OP, she can be in any position and still get away from it easily compared to reyna who has to frag to get the same treatment, done worse.

the people who think jett or reyna are more op than sova or skye really just dont watch competitive or are very high ranked on the ladder i guess, duelists in general are not that strong right now compared to alot of other agents

Jett is definitely op. To give you some perspective, she's the only agent that can efficiently use the operator, and you can't compare any ability in the game to jett dash, (besides raze satchel but satchel is really only good for peeking and entry fragging). Even then she got a heavy nerf, which made her abilities cost more and made her unable able to dash through cypher's trips, but even after that she has a 72% pick rate??? Seriously, at least sova and skye can compete against one and each other, but you can't compare anyone to jett...
