@TenzaMotorsports I would also say 850ci because I seen em with e39 steering wheel so maybe it can be swapped to e46 as well

No. There are pros and cons to both though. When it’s in the car, it’s nice because it won’t move around as you try and stitch it up. When it’s out of the car you have more access to see what you're doing but hard to hold.

Forget about the double sided tape, get yourself some leather glue and apply the glue at the front and back of the three spokes.

Could a slow setting glue be used instead of the tape?

Possibly. But this tape is unbelievably strong. So I don’t see any reason to change to material

I think you use to much tape.. .. Maybe at 12, 3, 6 and 9 O' clock and at the edges of the seams.. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZKkg3aoa7-EqJo

Honestly you can’t have too much. They give you like 6 feet of tape for a reason. You want it to stay in place.
