The way i see it, gen 2 theme projected Teostra's violence and fury towards its enemies, whereas this one projects the courage one has to have to face something so imposing and majestic. In Rise, it's all about the swag.

@@Nrex117 It seems that Teostra and Lunastra _specifically_ don’t go just to die, they actually go there for the mating season, which is why Teostra are so laid-back, and Lunastra are incredibly hostile. It also explains why Teostra’s mane is so much cleaner; it’s kept up to impress a Lunastra.

Nergigante is far more brutal and physically strong than Teostra. I mean, come on; Nerg eats other elders for breakfast. Doesn't have any special powers; he's just strong, angry, and very hungry all the damn time. Kinda like Deviljho but less terrifying in my opinion.

Teostra can fly and produce explosions AND fire out of thin air. Odogaron is quick and strong physically, but no match for an elder dragon's unnatural powers. Just look at him trying to go after Vaal Hazak.

Bravelord Speedo well, Rathalos is basically a big red fire-spitting Rathian. They're the same species, so it makes sense, but Luna and Teo are the same species too. Also, I'm not complaining they added one of the two dragons, I complain about the fact they scrapped the female one.

Weapon Smith, Justin idk if this will help since you might be passed him. His super nova usually comes when he is Draped in flames or sparks. He takes a little time to charge up. So HOOF IT

flash pods,cancels his super nova. super nova charge time is atleast 2.5 secs before it explodes so you have a pretty decent amount of time to shoot one ,just load it in your slinger first

ZX Strider i finally got him last night. I got nergigante gear and gemed myself to be immune to stuns. I also got a nice dragon element sword from elder dragon bones that i farmed nergi and vaal for. I beat teo without fainting

@ivan i knew when he was gonna super nova.. my proplem was he was ALWAYS stunning me... like it was worse then being thunderblighted... but i got stun resistance lv 3 and i managed to beat him no problem. didnt faint 1 time.

Don't get me wrong, iIreally like it. It's just that this theme doesn't have that heated intensity that would match an elder dragon like Teostra. Put simply, The original feels primal, intense and desperate. This revision feels heroic and triumphant. Both are great battle themes and I do love both of them, but for different reasons.
