I used a happy birthday one.i put the circuit in a old film container with a AA battery put a little hole on the lid for the speaker then chucked it on the roof of my old building went for weeks took them awhile to find out where the sound was coming from. Could hear it quite far lol

How can I change the audio on the cob?
@luigikoopa8771 Жыл бұрын
you can't. after the audio is "burned" onto the chip, there is no way to modify the data. it's stuck as whatever it was programmed to at the factory (if you even care 13 years later).

This is a serious inquiry. Would it be possible to delay the signal of the chime/music to have it play once every 15.22 days?

lol funny and very well paced and pedantic :) thanks! oh and can u do one on reprogramming it to customize the audio? thank you

Here's another hack for getting the recording to sound slower and quieter. Let the battery run down.

I don't remember, unfortunately, but I have a couple of the boards leftover. If you're local to Boston (as opposed to Syria, which your profile indicates), I'd be happy to drop them in the mail for you.

I bought a card for my mom back in 2008 and recently found it now in 2019. When I opened the card the recording didn’t work anymore! Is there any way to replay what was on there?

Hey i have a quick question. would this work if we hooked it up to a wireless RF Receiver not a switch. The receiver is off until a keyfob is pressed

It may require more power. But anything is possible if you are into circuitry.

Any idea how one would directly replace the audio file on the board?
@TraceguyRune7 жыл бұрын
Adam Oliphant no. You need to find the interface that was responsible for the programming of the chip
@luigikoopa8771 Жыл бұрын
you can't. once the audio is burned on the chip, there is no way to change it. it is there for good.

After 3 years, I assume you're not young anymore, however...I just want to say..."Don't brag".
