I'm a 45 begginer player (lancer). If you are having trouble with a bam, and you are alone (killing him takes longer then), dont get ahead of yourself with the skills.. Just guard and throw normal attacks between skills, its the best way to learn patterns. You can use this after you get 60, since there are several elite bosses that u find in lower maps, so its always a good way to learn bam's patterns.. Keep in mind that elites might have 1 or more extra attacks.

Red is primary threat target, the purplebluey one is secondary, meaning the boss is using an attack on that target but they do not have primary threat. its mainly a 'look out the boss is about to shoot at you' circle.

The other day I was doing a dung and dps guys were getting swarmed on because they ran in before me. Now instead of running toward the tank, these retards ran away from me and kept saying USE CS in chat. Sometimes I think dps guys are spoiled by how much responsibility healers and tanks hold and end up not using their brain. Srsly dps, we'll do our best, but you gotta watch your back from time to time, dont rely 100% on the tank.

the lancer can leash to interrupt, or stun, but he can't prevent the boss from switching to secondary attacks every once and awhile, only interrupt them when they happen

while leveling, mana is going to be a big issue for lancers. The solution for mana drain problems from blocking is to pull less mobs, or get better gear and make sure you have reduction crystals to lower the damage intake, and try to throw in basic attacks between enemy attacks when you can, mp5 crystals help too

yes, sorry for the confusion. It depends on if your DD's can handle dodging his attacks while he enraged, he's kinda crazy

I'm not sure myself exactly, this threat crystal change is exclusive to the western version and very recent, you used to only be able to use one. All I know is that using 4 makes tanking very easy, but since tanking was already possible with just using one I don't see a necessity to use all 4 unless you are a newer lancer just starting out and learning how to tank.

Hi Dom, ive probably watch this guide ore than 10 times, cause i always hear something new, what im going to ask is if you have seen that now the lancers are not what they use to be and now they have RE to block, so im starting as a lancer and is rather difficult for me no to time ths skills of the BAM and block, but to sustain the RE, it would be awesome if you have any tip or so, Thank you :)

Its recomendad Infused charms so u wont have problems, if u r low lvl and dont got enough gold to buy, get the glymph sprinded combo attack, that will increase 20% mp

probably warrior, lancer or priest, I remember warriors used to do solo runs of dungeons and sell the drops a few months back in K-tera... but it took a lot of skill and gear and not sure if its still possible, definitely not possible for bosses with damage checks as soloing dungeons will take awhile

Just to clarify, when the final boss of -Balder's Temple- is enraged, he will not un-enrage? (My confusion is caused by your saying Balder's Temple while the video was showing footage of the Lancer boss in Fane.) If so, and going off that, would that not mean it's best to enrage him for the 30% DPS rush, and then make sure all DPS are using "Crit. Dmg+ to Enraged" crystals?

Those tanking methods don't seem to follow current game mechanics. Bosses in Argon Corpus are almost 100% stun resistant. Any where to get something a little more current?

@ the charms, definitely not. If a lancer wants an attack speed charm he should use a camp fire separate to the one the DPS in the group are using, and tell the healer to come get the IAS charm too. You should stick with keen or power yourself, as should the other DD's

i was wondering how many times do you need to change your gear, i'm level 48 now and i still use the level 44 equipment from necromancer's tomb is it a good idea to change it for the level 50 equip from golden lab? or do i get better gear from quests?

well now theres RE for blocking and i have a level 50 mystic and the threat generates only if support or healing powers are active against the current person the threat is generated towards by your deduction i'd say a lancer has 100 points but if a pries or mystic heals them or buffs them then they will get 50 points of aggro each time

@Domeran How is your fps so smooth at the crab boss + having fraps on? I have a good computer: i7 2600k, GTX 580, 8 GBs DDR3 RAM and my fps drops SIGNIFICANTLY at the crab - from 70 to like, 20-30 My friends have reported these fps drops too, is this some sort of graphical bug that can be fixed?

Guardian shout is good but not always necessary, it increases the endurance of your team mates in a circle around you (about the same size as threatening shouts distance). I use it if I notice we have a sorcerer who gets just a bit too close to bosses, for cloth wearers this skill is a godsend since it reduces damage they take, the unfortunate part is it does have quite the cooldown time.

You'll need a better Lance/Shield. If you read the tool tips it'll tell you the maximum amount of damage the Shield will mitigate. However if you get hit for something stronger than what your Shield can block you will take dmg in the amount left over. So basically if your shield can block 687 of dmg and get hit by an attack that does 1000 dmg you loose 313 hit points.
