@@windtunnelxo Tera Melos have existed for many years before Black Midi, so really they're more like Tera Melos than Tera Melos are like them. Unless you're referring to the "Sonic Youth/Fugazi from the future" thing, which I think fits more with Tera Melos (especially the Sonic Youth comparison, maybe not Fugazi as much). Black Midi's dope, though.

Tera Melos was my favorite band back in 2010 range. They Came to Busan, Korea without me knowing about it while I was teaching abroad in my 20's. Found out 1 month after from another girl teacher who had no idea who they were. She found out Nick grew up on the same street as her in (California?) and she ended up going out to eat with the whole band at Korean BBQ. I was devistated! Missed an opportunity of a lifetime with PANTERA-FUCKING-MELOS! Wish I knew what he meant by the Korea story and what happened!

*******Sonically INTERESTING!! I dig it! Punk edged but more technical than one would think. The pedal play becomes a very integral part of the compositions and takes a very ambidextrous mindset! Though much better at this craft it also reminds ne of EARLY Early Pink Floyd, VoiVod, wooden stars and one other early 90's band that slips my mind that my drummer(r.i.p randy) had turned me on to back in the day. Diggin' this Fellas!! Never Stop watcha do!!*******
